Synopsis The Delta Upsilon Quinquennial Catalogue (Classic Reprint) by : Wilson Lincoln Fairbanks
Excerpt from The Delta Upsilon Quinquennial Catalogue While thus reduced to the narrow limits of a biographical cata logue, it has approached more nearly the style and general make-up of the average fraternity publication of its class. Yet in some respects this book has transcended the bounds usually set for fraternity cata lognes. It has been my aim to make the book of more than temporary value for its biographical matter. Consequently statistics have been included in each biography that have been hitherto untouched except in the more formal publications of colleges and theological seminaries. I, think the change will get its justification in the greater personal value of the book. The specific arrangement of the matter in each biography and the designed use of asterisks to separate. The various portions is entirely original, although the prime suggestion came from the study of another work. In thus acting as a pioneer, I have been intent on securing an arrangement at once clear, concise, and adaptable to varied circum stances and biographies. This end has been attained, but probably not to the maximum degree. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Excerpt from The Delta Upsilon Decennial Catalogue, 1902 This edition of the general catalogue Of the Delta Upsilon Frater mity follows in the main the plan Of the Quinquennial Catalogue of 1891. Its aim has been to include a faithful and comprehensive biography of every member Of Delta Upsilon. In addition but little Of historical matter has been inserted. Synopsis The Inscriptions, 1926-1950 by : John Harvey Kent
The inscriptions found in the excavations at Corinth between 1926 and 1950 are published here which, although fragmentary, provide significant new evidence for the history of Greece in the Roman period. Here the Greek texts before 44 B.C. number only 49; the bulk of the volume deals with 451 texts, both Greek and Latin, of the Roman Imperial period, 220 Greek texts of the Late Roman and Early Byzantine period and 17 after A.D. 800. Text, translation, and commentary are offered for each inscription and a general introduction to each period summarizes the historical information yielded by the texts and includes lists of the names of those who held various Roman offices.

Synopsis The Arcane Schools by : John Yarker
This hardbound edition of Yarker's classic opus is not merely another facsimile edition. It has been completely reformatted, yet retains a look and feel that is comparable to the original 1909 edition, right down to the blue cloth binding and gold stamped spine. From Alchemy to Zoroaster, and everything in between, The Arcane Schools continues to be one of the most comprehensive and authoritative works concerning the history and migration of the Western Mystery Tradition. Students of Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism, and Theosophy will find this to be an indispensable addition to their collection.
