The USDA Forest Products Laboratory sponsored the 6th International Symposium: Moisture and Creep Effects on Paper, Board and Containers at the Monona Terrace Convention Center, Madison, WI, USA on 14-15 July 2009. Attendees heard 20 technical presentations; presenters were from seven different countries and three continents. Session topics included Corrugated Performance, Moisture Flow, Component Behavior, Industry Efforts, Other Materials, Moisture and Creep Response.

This proceedings volume contains selected and expanded contributions presented at the 6th International Symposium of Space Optical Instruments and Applications, held in Delft, the Netherlands on Sep 24th–25th, 2019. The meeting was organized by the Sino-Holland Space Optical Instruments Joint Laboratory and supported by TU Delft. The symposium focused on key innovations of space-based optical instruments and applications, and the newest developments in theory, technology and applications in optics, in both China and Europe. It thus provided a platform for exchanges on the latest research and current and planned optical missions. The major topics covered in these conference proceedings are: space optical remote sensing system design; advanced optical system design and manufacturing; remote sensor calibration and measurement; remote sensing data processing and information retrieval; and remote sensing data applications.

The Human Aspects of Information Security and Assurance (HAISA) symposium specifically addresses information security issues that relate to people. It concerns the methods that inform and guide users' understanding of security, and the technologies that can benefit and support them in achieving protection. This book represents the proceedings from the 2012 event, which was held in Crete, Greece. Marine propulsors are key components of the many thousands of ships and boats operating in oceans, lakes, and rivers around the world. The performance of propulsors are important for the environmental impact of ships, underwater noise impact on aquatic fauna, and crew and passenger comfort and safety. This book presents nineteen papers devoted to the hydrodynamics of different types of marine propulsors (conventional propellers, thrusters, and novel solutions). Most of the papers are extended papers from the sixth International Symposium on Marine Propulsors (SMP 2019). Several of the papers deal with cavitation, vortices, and energy saving devices. The papers present high-quality research performed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Experimental Fluid Dynamics (EFD) as well Artificial Intelligence (AI).
