This book is a different kind of biography. It is not a chronological account of my life. But it is my life story, as parts of it are recalled by present everyday occurrences, hence; Now That Reminds Me.......the name of the book. I spent thirty years as a military wife, and wanted to share some of my memories with you. I truly believe that everyone has a story in them. I am sure that everyone can relate, in their own special way to my stories. Let's sit here on the porch, in our rocking chairs, sip our iced tea (sweetened, of course) and swap stories.

Residents of the Treasure Valley have long known Zamzows as the expert garden and pet supply store, but few know its rich history. I probably watch too much news, read too many newspapers, magazines, and blogs, and have too many conversations with people about politics. Often in my mind, I consider myself better than politicians. I may be better than some but not all of them. What I notice is that I make similar mistakes to those in charge. Because of this, I'm willing to say I'm not perfect. And I have the experiences to prove it.
