Just as Tetsuo and Yoshitatsu's brawl gets bloody, the police come knocking…but Tetsuo can't afford to be arrested. And suddenly popular with the boys, Reika is unaware of the danger she's in…until one handsome boy shares an ominous warning. Is all this attention just a coincidence, or does someone else have their eyes on the Tosus?

To woo Reika and gain her cooperation, Shin tricks her into taking a vacation with him…except Reika finds out he isn't who he says he is. Fueled by the death of her friend, her thirst to uncover Shin's crimes leads to a deadly situation. Meanwhile, Tetsuo and a so-called ally frantically attempt to track them down and rescue Reika…except all they find is a horrifying scene.

As Kyoichi digs deeper and tries to find evidence of Nobuto's murder at Reika's apartment, Tetsuo and Kasen secretly scheme to thwart his investigation…but the supposed lady-killer has plans of his own-a secret date with Reika in hopes of revealing the cracks in her parents' plotting. But now that the Tosus have Kyoichi's address, their plans to frame him for the murder can move ahead…until someone shows up whom they don't expect.

Concerned for his daughter, Tetsuo tags along on her date with two boys in hopes one of them will be around to protect her if he's sent to prison. Little does he know that one of them works for the gang…and both of them know what he's done. Increasingly desperate as the gang ramps up the violence in their plans surrounding Reika, Tetsuo considers handing himself in to the police…until an unexpected ally promises to help take down the gang once and for all.

With blood on his hands yet again, Tetsuo scrambles to pit the village against Kubo's armed men and spark a war that slaughters both sides. But first, he'll need to set the stage to frame someone for murder with his most potent weapon of all-his mind. And though gunfire filling the forest is music to his ears, he's unknowingly unleashed a monster with a thirst to kill.

Haunted by the horrors of a bloodbath he devised, Tetsuo is crushed by guilt. With his village now reduced to ruins, Tsukuyomi gives Tetsuo an ultimatum-to die by the sword, or to avenge Tsukuyomi's fallen brothers and sisters by fighting Kubo head-on. In a final showdown of brains versus brawn, Tetsuo must employ every last trick up his sleeve to defeat the monster behind the massacre and reunite with his family.

As the gang rolls into the village to take Tetsuo's head and the village's wealth, Kenshin lies in wait, ready to detonate his makeshift bomb and get revenge for his father. Refusing to let his family be pawns in the village's cult, Tetsuo plots to rescue Kasen and Reika and escape before the gang kills them all. However, after he witnesses something truly vile, he's fully prepared to scrap his humanity and embrace his inner monster if it means saving his loved ones.

After confessing his guilt to the police, Tetsuo must do one last thing before turning himself in-leave his family for their own protection. Divorce papers in hand, he heads to Kasen's village with Reika in tow, using his final hours together with his daughter to open up about his and Kasen's past. A young girl, brainwashed by a cult… A young man, alone without family… Their chance meeting many years ago set in motion the turmoil that still haunts them to this day.

With their house bugged and under surveillance, Tetsuo hatches a plan to divert the suspicions of the gang…but not all of them buy it. The family now caught in a lie, Kyoichi pulls out all the stops to force out a confession from one of them…and he's not above abduction or murder. But just when all seems lost, Tetsuo forms an unlikely partnership, plunging him straight into a world of violence.
