Concerned for his daughter, Tetsuo tags along on her date with two boys in hopes one of them will be around to protect her if he's sent to prison. Little does he know that one of them works for the gang…and both of them know what he's done. Increasingly desperate as the gang ramps up the violence in their plans surrounding Reika, Tetsuo considers handing himself in to the police…until an unexpected ally promises to help take down the gang once and for all.

With all that Tetsuo's seen, he knows far too much. The gang goes to extreme lengths to ensure Tetsuo's lips are sealed by blackmailing him and getting it all on film. However, the drama club veteran strikes back by making fake footage of Nobuto where it looks like he's still alive…but it's all for naught unless Tetsuo can somehow hack into Nobuto's social media account. With time running out and not many leads to go on, Tetsuo comes face to face with a stranger who wants nothing more than to kill him-and would, if only he knew who he was.

Tensions run high when Kubo comes for Tetsuo's head in the village where he, Reika, and Kasen are held captive…and Yoji is left wondering why Tetsuo is their target instead. But after discovering the true nature of the village, the gang gears up for war. Meanwhile, the Tosus plan their escape with help from an unexpected source…but whose motives may not align with their own.

To woo Reika and gain her cooperation, Shin tricks her into taking a vacation with him…except Reika finds out he isn't who he says he is. Fueled by the death of her friend, her thirst to uncover Shin's crimes leads to a deadly situation. Meanwhile, Tetsuo and a so-called ally frantically attempt to track them down and rescue Reika…except all they find is a horrifying scene.

A young Tetsuo opens his heart to Kasen, beginning their relationship, but the constant harassment from her family is ruining their lives. And when they try to do things the village's way, it only makes matters worse. If they're determined to spend their lives together and get married, they'll have to fight back by devising a plan as insane as the people of the village itself.

As Kyoichi digs deeper and tries to find evidence of Nobuto's murder at Reika's apartment, Tetsuo and Kasen secretly scheme to thwart his investigation…but the supposed lady-killer has plans of his own-a secret date with Reika in hopes of revealing the cracks in her parents' plotting. But now that the Tosus have Kyoichi's address, their plans to frame him for the murder can move ahead…until someone shows up whom they don't expect.

Tetsuo's scheming pays off as the organization starts to question Kyoichi. He tries to plead his case, but all bets are off when Nobuto's bones are found where he least expects. Unsure who to believe, Nobuto's father takes it upon himself to find out who truly killed his son…and to avenge him by slaughtering their entire family. What he soon discovers leads to a showdown at the place it all began.

When Yasumoto questions him at the police station to untangle the web of lies, a little slip-up may soon land Tetsuo behind bars. But as Yasumoto begins piecing the puzzle together, Kasen runs off to Gunma to negotiate with her family…who seem to have dark ties of their own. Their time running out, Kasen and Tetsuo take matters into their own hands to protect their family in the only way they know how.

All eyes are on Kasen and Reika as the festival gets underway, but the young Ogamime apprentice is bent on escaping. And Tetsuo, fueled by a growing hatred for Goichiro, lurks in the shadows for an opportunity to kill the cult leader. With little more than a newfound thirst for vengeance, Tetsuo braves an army of villagers only to find out that the gang may already be one step ahead of him.

After confessing his guilt to the police, Tetsuo must do one last thing before turning himself in-leave his family for their own protection. Divorce papers in hand, he heads to Kasen's village with Reika in tow, using his final hours together with his daughter to open up about his and Kasen's past. A young girl, brainwashed by a cult… A young man, alone without family… Their chance meeting many years ago set in motion the turmoil that still haunts them to this day.
