Synopsis Benny ... He Wants to Be a Monk! by : Jim Cronin
Twenty-six-year-old Benny lives in Queens. To date, he has done nothing in his life that would cause him to stand up and shout. Plain and simple-he is bored out of his gourd. But when he reads an advertisement that invites him to join the order of St. Sebastian, he feels that God is talking to him. Benny thinks he has found his calling. After he arrives at the monastery, Benny is shocked to discover only one resident monk. Albert, the monastery's Superior, is on the verge of closing the monastery. After he meets Benny, though, and realizes his intentions are pure, he decides to teach him the holy ropes. While Benny is coming to grips with the realization that entering the priesthood is not like joining the Elks or Boy Scouts, unsavory characters from his old neighborhood learn that the last surviving member of St. Sebastian will have the honor of disposing of the monastery. As Irish, Felix, Goldie, and Marko join the order with the hopes of cashing in on the sale, Benny prays he has the foresight to lead all the men in the right direction and do what it takes to keep the monastery open.

Synopsis Dunwich by : Peter Levenda
Dunwich is based on the themes in H. P. Lovecraft's The Dunwich Horror and is the continuation of Peter Levenda's novel The Lovecraft Code. Beginning with the harrowing experience of an alien abductee in a small New England town and continuing through a series of encounters with a renowned mathematician, mercenary geneticists, an international ring of pornographers, the human trafficking cult of the Islamic State, and practitioners of an arcane form of sexual occultism, Dunwich follows the adventures of religion professor Gregory Angell as he attempts to discover a shocking secret encoded within an ancient book of magic that, once deciphered, will cause the eruption of a force so prehistoric that its earthly temples--once submerged beneath the seas--will rise to the surface again.

Synopsis Four Futures by Kit Reed by : Kit Reed
Four speculative near futures by Kit Reed, author of Where and Mormama, showcasing her sharp and transgressive social dystopias where characters are pushed to their psychological limits. @Expectations Jenny lives a typical suburban life and stumbles upon an online community where people create their own lives through words. Soon she becomes so far removed from her life that she can no longer see the line between reality and fantasy. Thinner Than Thou In a world where religion says everyone must look young and perfect, the ultimate heresy is being too fat, too thin, or too old. The Baby Merchant Precipitously falling fertility rates (due to viruses and other biological complications) allow Tom Starbird to make a living finding the perfect "unwanted" baby for the perfect, very wealthy, parents. Enclave The compelling story of an isolated community under pressure, Enclave shows how men, women, and teenagers react when their hermetically-sealed mountaintop community is attacked by biological and electronic viruses. Synopsis Enclave by : Kit Reed
The world is in chaos: war, plague, global ecological collapse. Parents everywhere seek sanctuary for their precious children, the future of mankind. For those who are rich and powerful enough, safety can be found—for a price—at the Clothos Academy. Run by a mysterious man known only as Sarge, set in a former monastery atop a sheer cliff on a tiny island somewhere in the Mediterranean, Clothos will admit only one hundred students before it is sealed off—perhaps permanently—from the terrors outside. But all is not as it seems. The pupils are so-called starlets best known for their empty heads and eating disorders; troublemakers one step away from incarceration; and junior royals too embarrassing to be let out in public. And the staff isn't much better, from the alcoholic doctor to an ancient monk with secrets of his own. And the dangers from which these castaways are being protected? Prerecorded, ready to be trotted out whenever Sarge needs to terrify his little flock. And yet... Some dangers are real, as two boys discover when they hack the Academy's self-contained computer network and connect, for a brief but disastrous moment, to the outside world. Worse, a stranger has entered the Academy. And he has brought Death. At the Publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.

Synopsis Missiles and Mistletoe by : Dr. Dominick J Morreale
Missiles and Mistletoe is a WWII adventure story laced with romance. It is based on an actual spy episode with added fictional elements. The Americans send a mission to capture scientific data from a Nazi research facility located in Italy. The team encounters competition from an unlikely source. The research developed at the Nazi lab is critical to the war effort. It presents a solution to the problem of not being able to guide a missile to an intended target. If the axis powers had implemented such an ability the war may have had a different ending. The story has many twists as it follows the adventures of the mission team and others who join them along the way. In the midst of the turmoil more than one romantic encounter develops, proving that love can happen in the oddest places and at the strangest of times.
