Synopsis Zarzar by : Wietske Blijjenberg

Swords don’t kill friends. Zarando does. And you better believe he’ll never forgive himself for it. Zarando is a god — or at least he answers prayers like a god. When his Agency sends him to a rainy world to answer yet another prayer, he is displeased at best. His state of mind only worsens when he finds out that the world is filled with holes — holes that aren’t supposed to be there. Accompanied by locals Miro and Jagemir, Zarando embarks on a quest to fix the holes. Because that’s his job, isn’t it? However, not everyone enjoys the idea of Zarando completing his job. What if even his own Queen doesn’t want him to succeed? And what if his friend Daevi is right, and this job is tougher than he can handle? Most importantly, what if fixing the holes isn’t his job at all?

Synopsis Understanding Meaningful Environments by : Karina Moraes Zarzar

The real power for security applications will come from the synergy of academic and commercial research focusing on the specific issue of security. Special constraints apply to this domain, which are not always taken into consideration by academic research, but are critical for successful security applications: large volumes: techniques must be able to handle huge amounts of data and perform 'on-line' computation; scalability: algorithms must have processing times that scale well with ever growing volumes; automation: the analysis process must be automated so that information extraction can 'run on its own'; ease of use: everyday citizens should be able to extract and assess the necessary information; and robustness: systems must be able to cope with data of poor quality (missing or erroneous data). The NATO Advanced Study Institute (ASI) on Mining Massive Data Sets for Security, held in Italy, September 2007, brought together around ninety participants to discuss these issues. This publication includes the most important contributions, but can of course not entirely reflect the lively interactions which allowed the participants to exchange their views and share their experience. The bridge between academic methods and industrial constraints is systematically discussed throughout. This volume will thus serve as a reference book for anyone interested in understanding the techniques for handling very large data sets and how to apply them in conjunction for solving security issues.

Synopsis World Within Our Own by : Razi Ebadi Blakley

This is fictional history of dragons, mystical spirits, entities of light, supernatural aquatic creatures, spirits of nature and horrifying demons. Furthermore, it is a tale of magical and extraordinary beings that have come to earth from the stars and placed a giant mirror in front of our faces and souls and have asked us to stop and take a look and see whom we have become, and were we are going from this point on. As all maestros before them, they have raised their arms and are showing us the path to a better world where war and horror is not source of entertainment and are setting the stage to path of righteousness. Millions of stars glowing in the heavens and we look up searching for a better world when we already have one, a beautiful blue marble suspended in space and dancing around the Galaxy pulsing with 8.7 million species of life. My imagination never stops, I see entities of light and magical creatures everywhere I go; in the air, dancing in the fire, roaming the forests and playing in oceanic cities. Hold my hand and let me take you there.
