Synopsis I Wish You Were Never Born by : James G. Marlow
Well, first of all, this man is not a writer so don't expect a well organized or properly laid-out book. It's from his own words and nothing has been edited. Therefore it's all over the place, yet still quite interesting. It really made me feel for James to know his background and to learn about the seriousness of the mind control experiments being inhumanely performed on inmates. If this information is true, and I suspect much of it probably is, then something needs to be done. I don't understand how people take this information so lightly. Most of this book is decently well-written and raw considering the source! Sure it's unorganized and veers away from the book's title. For example, when watching the Investigation Discovery "Wicked Attraction" series (episode "the Folsom Wolf")they talk about how James had sex with his own mother when he was an adolescent (she seduced him and shot him up with drugs). I don't remember James even touching on this subject, almost like it never happened, even though the book cover mentions sexual abuse. I also wish he would've delved deeper into the psychological reasons he teamed up with his co-killer Cynthia Coffman, instead of just superficially describing the situation and referring to her as "the most horrible person he ever met in his life." To me, it does seem that he puts the blame on Cynthia for the deaths of the two young women. He repeatedly says he's sorry to the victim's families, but mostly maintains his innocence. But who knows, he could be telling the truth. When he said he purposely disposed of the victim's and his/Cynthia's identification to where it would be found and get them caught, this could be true. Either that, or he made a serious mistake when throwing out this evidence near a dumpster (this is what the I.D. series indicates). I suspect, however, that the truth lies somewhere in between, and we'll never get the full story out of him, or know how much involvement he truly had in the murders. I have a weird feeling that there might be more women that James and Cynthia killed. According to the series mentioned above, Cynthia was caught with a single earring that she kept as a trophy from one of the victims. But police found three mismatched earrings in her purse, which looks to me like for all we know, those other two earrings belonged to victims we may never know about. Even though he is a killer, my heart still goes out to him and I wish this man the best. If God can forgive even the most abominable man, so can we, right? Or we can at least try to. He life has sounded literally like hell on earth.

Synopsis Better Never to Have Been by : David Benatar
Most people believe that they were either benefited or at least not harmed by being brought into existence. David Benatar presents a startling challenge to these assumptions. He argues that people systematically overestimate the quality of their life, and suffer quite serious harms by coming into existence.

Synopsis Locus Origin - The Never Born by : Christian Matari
Over a century after the seedship Lazarus completed its near 1,200 year journey, the Terran colonies found themselves in conflict with a hostile alien race. In a world decimated by a long, drawn-out war where a never-ending stream of fresh clones are fed to the Terran war machine, a genetically engineered squad of soldiers must fight to survive against all odds. When society is ruled from behind the scenes by massive corporate conglomerates that control powerful secret organizations and even the very Republic itself, the clones will come to question the world they live in, their fellow soldiers, and even the very nature of their existence. What's more, they must struggle to establish their own identities in a world that has little respect for human life, and even less for that of a clone.

Synopsis Born Survivors by : Wendy Holden
The Nazis murdered their husbands but concentration camp prisoners Priska, Rachel, and Anka would not let evil take their unborn children too—a remarkable true story that will appeal to readers of The Lost and The Nazi Officer’s Wife, Born Survivors celebrates three mothers who defied death to give their children life. Eastern Europe, 1944: Three women believe they are pregnant, but are torn from their husbands before they can be certain. Rachel is sent to Auschwitz, unaware that her husband has been shot. Priska and her husband travel there together, but are immediately separated. Also at Auschwitz, Anka hopes in vain to be reunited with her husband. With the rest of their families gassed, these young wives are determined to hold on to all they have left—their lives, and those of their unborn babies. Having concealed their condition from infamous Nazi doctor Josef Mengele, they are forced to work and almost starved to death, living in daily fear of their pregnancies being detected by the SS. In April 1945, as the Allies close in, Priska gives birth. She and her baby, along with Anka, Rachel, and the remaining inmates, are sent to Mauthausen concentration camp on a hellish seventeen-day train journey. Rachel gives birth on the train, and Anka at the camp gates. All believe they will die, but then a miracle occurs. The gas chamber runs out of Zyklon-B, and as the Allied troops near, the SS flee. Against all odds, the three mothers and their newborns survive their treacherous journey to freedom. On the seventieth anniversary of Mauthausen’s liberation from the Nazis by American soldiers, renowned biographer Wendy Holden recounts this extraordinary story of three children united by their mothers’ unbelievable—yet ultimately successful—fight for survival.
