Synopsis You Have Ravished My Heart by : Stephanie Schwartz
Is Henry really the one, chosen by God? How can Veronica be sure? All her dreams have been dashed thus far. She only wished to live out a simple life in her Amish community, seeking God, caring for a husband and a family, being part of a loving church. Veronica cannot understand why some folks have all the bad luck. Why are some visited by tragedies while others are not? Does God pull all the strings like a giant puppeteer? Are these things predestined from all eternity? Can she trust Him while not understanding this life she finds herself living? Was having faith meant to be this hard? Will He really wipe away every tear? Upon meeting Veronica, Henry had looked at her then and she looked at him. No words were needed. They both knew. This had been the plan for all Eternity. His plan for them. According to the world, it would seem folly. But to those that have embraced this path less trod, it couldn’t be clearer. Their gaze was interrupted by a tiny voice then. “More…please.” Rosie looked up at both of them and smiled. She seemed to know, too.

Synopsis You Have Ravished My Heart by : Wanda Edwards
The Song of Solomon has proven through the ages to be the greatest love story of all time. It depicts the love Jesus has for Israel, the church, and us as individuals. As Solomon passes through Shulam, he stays long enough to pursue and eventually propose to a girl who has suffered great rejection from her peers. His love qualifies her to be the wife of a king and demonstrates through these chapters just how the love of Jesus has qualified us all if we will only accept his offer. Join me and take a front-row seat as we see Solomon choose the Shulamite and then see the Shulamite choose Solomon. The transformation of the Shulamite becomes ours as well if we accept his offer of love and marriage.

Synopsis A Theological Commentary to the Midrash: Song of Songs Rabbah by : Jacob Neusner
This theological commentary to the Rabbinic Midrash explores a simple proposition, in three parts. I. The reading of Scripture by principal parts of the Rabbinic Midrash is formed by compositions and composites that are animated by a cogent theological system. II. These primary components of the Midrash-compilations, further, are in part aimed at systematic demonstrations of theorems of a theological character. III. While forming a principal part of a large theological structure and system, each document is unique. This commentary in its concluding chapter presents what is common to the animating theology of Rabbinic Judaism in all its documentary components and what is unique to Song of Songs Rabbah.

Synopsis Androgynous Judaism by : Jacob Neusner
America's foremost scholar on formative Judaism examines the issue of gender as it appears in the corpus of rabbinic literature and arrives at some provocative conclusions. While the structure of Judaism based on the dual Torah is clearly masculine in orientation, the substructure--the religious system that shapes its values and perception--is androgynous, an individual conjunction of genders. In fact, the higher values, as defined by the relevant writings, prove to be feminine.

Synopsis Looking upon the Heart by : Pete Carlson, MFT
BY LOOKING UPON THE HEART WE CAN ALL BE CHANGED IN AN INSTANT AND LIVE LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY! The mystery of the biblical heart is unveiled by integrating psychology and Scripture to delineate the five dispositions of the heart, the choice of which we morph into could either enhance or hinder the attainment of abundant life in Christ. Throughout time, people have been searching for the meaning of life and the way to find fulfillment. It is the intention of this book to show how, by Looking upon the Heart, where Jesus may live, we can actualize healing and holiness at any moment in time. In this in-depth, Christian psychology and self-help/textbook, the reader is enlightened as to what good and bad choices we can make about our character and personality; the goal is to consistently be transformed (morphed) out of the unhealthy dispositions of the heart (the broken heart and the hard heart) into healthier ones (the open heart, sweet heart, and the brave heart). Our first basic premise is that we all, believers and unbelievers alike, can and do spontaneously morph continually in and out of various dispositions, character states and personality styles, and so are capable of immediate transformation. The second premise is that grace must prevail; we all would be hypocrites if we judged, because we are all morphing, having our good moments and bad, at any particular moment in real time. Ultimately the overall perspective is that the heart should be the most important human entity known to man. The heart is the primary gatekeeper and decision-maker and, therefore, the overall determiner of the whole person's behavior, personal growth, and spiritual maturity. We are to embrace a complete understanding of the biblical heart, its five dispositions, in order to overcome psychological, behavioral and relational dysfunction and sin. Only then can we successfully and consistently experience oneness with God through Jesus, living and actively operating within our hearts. As a result of "Looking upon the Heart," the Lord reigns and leads us to a life of victory in Jesus.

Synopsis Satan's Big Fat Lie by : Steve Foss
"Satan wants to control, manipulate, and demoralize God's people. How does he do this? During one of his most intense spiritual battles, international evangelist Steve Foss received a series of prophetic dreams and visions that exposed the key weapon the enemy is using against God's people: shame. Believers are ashamed of past mistakes. Churches are being shamed for defending the gospel. Brother is turning against brother as the culture shames anyone who does not walk in lockstep with its agenda. Cancel culture itself is a way of shaming people into submission to the status quo. Shame is transforming our culture into a godless, sin-celebrating society. In Satan's Big Fat Lie, Foss exposes Satan's great end-time strategy and how Christians can war against it. Shame was the final attack upon Jesus when He was on the cross, and it was designed to keep Him from fulfilling His destiny. But God has given His people a powerful weapon to triumph over the enemy's attacks. We overcome the deceptive attacks of the enemy when we learn to use the keys God has given us to stand strong in these last days"--

Synopsis Talmud Torah by : Jacob Neusner
This is a work of practical theology, a book not about Judaism but of Judaism. Talmud Torah does two things. First, in its pages, which highlight representative sources of the Oral Torah of Judaism, readers study about studying the Torah, which Rabbinic Judaism put forth as the way to God's presence.
