This yearbook contains documentary texts of treaties and other materials concerning the legal status and activities of the United Nations and related inter-governmental organizations. It also presents the judicial decisions on questions related to the Organization. A bibliography on jurisprudence is included.

The 33rd yearbook in an annual series comprising documentary materials of a legal character concerning the United Nations and related intergovernmental organizations. The first two chapters include legislative texts and treaty provisions, most of which entered into force in 1995. Subsequent chapters review the legal activities, as well as treaties concerning international law concluded under the auspices of the organizations during the year in question, whether or not they entered into force that year.
