Synopsis Turbulent Times & Clear Skies by : Nazie El Masry
As a senior aeronautical engineer with Britain's flagship airlines in the 60s, 70s and 80s, it was engineer and playboy Nazie El Masry's job to keep these man-made birds in perfect flying condition. Turbulent Times and Clear Skies is the story of his colourful exploits in the most glamorous industry of all, as he defeated the odds to build an international aviation business of his own - with offices in Singapore, Miami, Holland and the UK. From the crew and pilots' parties to which he supplied contraband liquor and introductions to the wildest international hotspots in Libya, Tunis, Casablanca and Europe; to his early adventures wheeling and dealing in 1970s Britain, along the way Nazie has rubbed shoulders with slum landlords, show girls, heads of state and movie stars. This is also the story of an Egyptian childhood and a young man who lost his father but found happiness.ÿ

Synopsis Peace in These Troubled Times by : Steven Leslie Golding
PEACE IN THESE TROUBLED TIMES I hope that reading this book will give you some inspiration to do some writing yourselves. I have aimed it at people who suffer mental health issues, but I would like to think that anybody, whatever their background, will find it of some interest too. My interest of English fairy folklore and pagan Britain, I find it truly fascinating. Writing this short story have really helped me think about the kind of world and what path I would like to take in the future. A nature based religion is the way forward in my opinion. I would like to think that in the near future, all religions of the world could live in peace as one. There would be no more wars and bloodshed. We would all live in peace. We can only live in hope. Blessed be.

Synopsis The One Year Praying in Faith DevotionalThe One Year Praying in Faith Devotional by : Chris Tiegreen
The faith journey can be hard, but it doesn't have to be. Abraham, Joseph, David, Paul, and even Jesus himself--all heroes of the faith who experienced both the soaring grace of answered prayers and crushing sorrow when God seemed unwilling to respond or too far away to hear. And yet, even in the darkest times, God was working, writing an unseen story of redemption that would save the world. When we pray, how do we see beyond the immediate and into the eternal? How do we know when to keep praying and when to give up; when to consider something a promise from God and when to recognize that it was from our own imagination? Why does silence from God rarely mean no and almost always mean come closer? The One Year Praying in Faith Devotional answers these questions and many more, taking you through a 365-day journey that will help you experience a prayerful relationship with God like never before.

Synopsis Troubled Times by : Gene Baumgaertner
This is a tale of fifteenth-century Englandtroubled timestimes of medieval knights, mayhem, war, and of friendship, honor, and determination. England has a weak king who has ruled too long. Powerful magnates seek to rob the king of his wealth, of his authority, and of his majesty. It is a time of deceit and double-dealing, of theft and violence, of murder and war. Into these times come William Wulfgar Howard, the bastard son of a wayward knight, and John Hugh Fitzalan, high-born aristocrat. In the halls and tilting yards of Arundel Castle, they quickly become friends. Together they strive to become young gentlemen, skilled warriors, and chivalrous esquires. Thrust into war when barely a dozen years old, they find high adventure, rich spoils, and much more. Stepping into the waning years of the Hundred Years War, they must quickly absorb the skills of professional warriors and fight battles on land and sea, struggling to save a lost cause. Along the way, they find that a quick blade is sometimes as valuable as a quick wit, and that friendship is worth more than wealth.
