Synopsis They Say Love Is Blind by : Pepper Pace
"You have such a pretty face, If only you would lose some weight." Tory has heard that all of her life. In her solitary life she eats alone and daydreams about having a handsome boyfriend who could accept all of her. Daily she finds herself running to catch her bus and knowing that she is the laughing stock of the other commuters. And then one day she literally finds herself 'falling' into the lap of one of the commuters; an exotically handsome white man. Tory finds that she is unable to stop thinking about him and daydreaming about the life he must live. But Mr. Gorgeous must be either married or gay because she sees him dismissing the attention of gorgeous women left and right. Never in a million years would she ever guess that hers was the only attention he was interested in... In this multicultural romance, Pepper Pace weaves a story that takes her readers through the ups and downs of personal insecurities, cultural differences, and of course a lesson to be learned; that love is totally and completely blind. Synopsis Love is Blind by : Lynsay Sands
“Lynsay Sands spins a funny, laughable tale.” —Eloisa James on Taming the Highland Bride Adrian Montfort, Earl of Mowbray, had been warned that Lady Clarissa Crambray was dangerous. From stomping on toes to setting wigs on fire, the stunning beauty was clearly a force to be reckoned with. Still, he’s in need of a wife and is sure he can handle one woman and her “unfortunate past.” Intrigued by the mysterious vixen, he soon discovers he’s greatly underestimated the lady… Clarissa would like to find a husband, but perhaps not as much as her stepmother would like one for her. The woman has forbidden Clarissa from wearing her spectacles so she can look prettier, but how is she to see her potential suitors? Besides, she’s already caused enough mayhem to earn a rather horrible nickname. Just when she is about to give up hope of anyone asking her to dance, a man comes to lead her to the dance floor…a dark, handsome blur of a man.

Synopsis Black Madness : by : Therí Alyce Pickens
In Black Madness :: Mad Blackness Therí Alyce Pickens rethinks the relationship between Blackness and disability, unsettling the common theorization that they are mutually constitutive. Pickens shows how Black speculative and science fiction authors such as Octavia Butler, Nalo Hopkinson, and Tananarive Due craft new worlds that reimagine the intersection of Blackness and madness. These creative writer-theorists formulate new parameters for thinking through Blackness and madness. Pickens considers Butler's Fledgling as an archive of Black madness that demonstrates how race and ability shape subjectivity while constructing the building blocks for antiracist and anti-ableist futures. She examines how Hopkinson's Midnight Robber theorizes mad Blackness and how Due's African Immortals series contests dominant definitions of the human. The theorizations of race and disability that emerge from these works, Pickens demonstrates, challenge the paradigms of subjectivity that white supremacy and ableism enforce, thereby pointing to the potential for new forms of radical politics.

Soon the boys are forced to bond by adults, and it sets forth the confusion of love. What appears to start as nothing more than nervous giggles and jittery speech turns into a pact neither boy can come to understand. A bond that will forever change both teenagers, and they'll experience something more than friendship. It seems like a dream, and everybody is scared until the ball drops, and someone finally makes a move. How will the boy's parents, friends, and love for each other come together? Will it either work in their favor or wedge them apart forever? As They Say, is a story of how two boys fall in love during the months of an Irish summer. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they meet one another, and after a somewhat sceptical introduction, they become fast friends. And eventually, love begins to set in.

Synopsis Relationship P.O.T.H.O.L.E.S by : John Mperekeng Teffo
The pitfalls and lessons often ignored in relationships cause pain and bitterness to many. Love and relationships are meant to be enjoyed and not endured, as many find themselves in mini-prisons in the name of love. Love starts with loving oneself before being shared with the other partner. Don’t forget to love yourself and allow your partner to take you for granted.
