It is a companion book to “No Matter What There’s Always Hope”, a hope-based interactive devotional for young people who have lost hope or feel hopeless due to childhood trauma or adverse childhood circumstances. It is designed to instill or renew hope and to give caregivers tools and strategies to help youth overcome the Terrible Ds (despair, despondency, depression, disappointment, discouragement, disheartenment, and disillusionment.)

Starting with a personal life experience, the book explains biblical hope by showing that Jesus is more than our only hope. He IS Hope.

Thirty-one years ago (August 3, 1981) my life changed so drastically that I thought I’d never recover and never again be the wife and mother that I had always hoped to be.
