Robert Shaw wrote this work as a commentary on the Westminster Confession of Faith, and his theological views follow the Westminster Assembly in their Reformed and Calvinistic Doctrine. This volume is one of the most helpful and well written commentaries on the Confession in print. This version had corrected many of the typos, punctuation problems, and the Scripture notations to reflect modern English without losing that which was written by Shaw in his day.
