The View from Kings Point: The Kings Point Creative Writers Club Anthology, 2018 is the product of the labors over eighteen months of twelve gifted writers, including one artist residing in a senior community. As the Preface illustrates, the range, scope, variety, and diversity of their pieces are truly outstanding. Literary quality shines through everywhere. The title is an allusion to the revolutionary, omniscient perspective called the king’s point of view of Spanish master painter Diego Velazquez in his famous Las Meninas (Ladies in Waiting), which is reproduced in the first frontispiece.
