CHAPTER XXXII BREEDING AND BREEDING ESTABLISHMENTS The Kentucky Trotting Horse Association was organized in 1873, and when I attended its first meetings at Lexington, the outlook was anything but cheerful. Veech, Louisville; Edge Hill, Richard West, Georgetown; Ashland, H. C. McDowell, Lexington; Fairlawn, General W. T. Withers, Lexington; Forest Park, Dr. L. Herr, Lexington; and Abdallah Park, Cynthiana. Other...
