The reader is reminded that these years may, or may not, be representative for the various Kentucky timber industries covered in this report. When documented production statistics were available for individual timber products for previous or intervening years, they were included for comparative purposes. Long-term production trends will be forthcoming from repeated surveys in the future. Until a data base is built up over time, the reader is cautioned to use the current statistics prudently.
