In The Saints' Inheritance, early revivalist J. N. Loughborough studies what awaits the saints after the second coming: their inheritance. "The Saint’s Inheritance and the Worldling’s Portion" is a newly published work, originally written in 1657, which concerns a study between the men of the world and God’s people saved in the Covenant of Grace. Men of the world mind earthly things which are temporary. This is their portion, and ultimately their demise. The people of God have their inheritance in Jesus Christ which is presently sealed by the Spirit while they live on earth, but given in its fullness in heaven.
