Synopsis Rod of Iron KINGDOM by : Hyung Jin Sean Moon

In February 2018, our small church in the sleepy town of Newfoundland, Pennsylvania held a marriage blessing ceremony and invited members from around the world to bring their AR 15 rifles. Planning this event had begun more than 6 months before. Although there was concern about the recent tragic events in the Parkland, Florida school shooting, it was our sense that if God had inspired us 6 months ago, He wasn't going to change His Mind due to one lunatic. There was no way we could have anticipated the firestorm of publicity that followed. "Gun Church in PA Blesses AR 15's!" "The Gun Church in Pennsylvania!" screamed the headlines! This book tells the real reasons for the ceremony, and how those are related to the serious challenges facing our nation and world.I would urge people to get a copy! An excellent apologetic for the 2nd Amendment. A handbook for dealing for some of the big mistakes people make when talking about the 2nd Amendment, self-defense and limiting the power of government. An excellent compilation of some of the major 2nd Amendment topics we need to have at our finger tips!Larry Pratt, Host Gun Owner's News Hour Radio on GCN

Synopsis The Rod of Iron by : Richard Douglas Bouslough

When I was a man,I spoke like a man,I thought like a man,I reasoned like a man; When He gave me immortal parentage,I gave up the Childish ways of men.Old things passed away. All things became new.Yet remain these three, faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is Love. Favorite verses paraphrased by Doc Forrester"Here he reigns with the rod of iron. Only the collective remnant knew the whole truth, that his love overlaid justice with mercy, responsibility with grace, the scepter of righteousness with the shepherd's staff. It's an imposed peace of delicate balance. Most of mankind who remain mortal believe this authority is only temporary. Yet, even those who fight within their spirits acknowledge his right to Lordship. The time is not yet fulfilled for final accounts to be settled. In the meanwhile, the truths of immortality with him far surpass everything I knew before."

Synopsis The Institutes of Biblical Law Vol. 1 by : R. J. Rushdoony

To attempt to study Scripture without studying its law is to deny it. To attempt to understand Western civilization apart from the impact of Biblical law within it and upon it is to seek a fictitious history and to reject twenty centuries and their progress. The Institutes of Biblical Law has as its purpose a reversal of the present trend. it is called "Institutes" in the older meaning of the that word, i.e., fundamental principles, here of law, because it is intended as a beginning, as an instituting consideration of that law which must govern society, and which shall govern society under God. To understand Biblical law, it is necessary to understand also certain basic characteristics of that law. In it, certain broad premises or principles are declared. These are declarations of basic law. The Ten Commandments give us such declarations. A second characteristics of Biblical law, is that the major portion of the law is case law, i.e., the illustration of the basic principle in terms of specific cases. These specific cases are often illustrations of the extent of the application of the law; that is, by citing a minimal type of case, the necessary jurisdictions of the law are revealed. The law, then, asserts principles and cites cases to develop the implications of those principles, with is purpose and direction the restitution of God's order.

Synopsis James by : Chuck Christensen

Put Some Muscle Behind Your Faith. We live in a world characterized by instability, in-fighting, materialism, and words without actions. Sadly, no one is immune to these problems. Centuries ago, the apostle James could not envision the world we would live in, but he did address the issues we would face. Building a bridge between first-century Christianity and our lives today, James: Faith in Action shows how Christianity can work in a postmodern world and calls you to an active allegiance to Jesus Christ and a commitment to living out your faith through bold action. 10 studies for individuals or groups.
