Second-time seduction! Bea has been reunited with Leon Gregoris, her ex-fiancé. But this time Leon won't mesmerize her with his dark Greek-Cypriot good looks. Bea is older and in charge of herself now; she won't be captive to sexual chemistry! Then Leon announces they are engaged again—which is news to Bea! Before she can protest, Leon has whisked her away to his luxury villa in Cyprus. And guess what: that same mutual, intense physical attraction is as strong as ever. Bea might be unwilling to be Leon's fiancée a second time, but it's proving harder to steer clear of his bed! Another passionate, power-packed read by favorite author Jacqueline Baird.

Synopsis The Reluctant Fiancee: A Heartwarming Sweet Romance by : Liz Durano
After abruptly calling off her wedding to her Silicon Valley business partner, Summer Avila stumbles upon a long-forgotten reservation for a rustic cabin nestled in the snowy mountains and decides to take it, even if it means she'll be alone on Christmas Eve. But her plans take an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with rugged mountain guide and lodge manager Forrest Peters and his loyal one-eyed dog, Bodhi. His world of family values and nature is a stark contrast to the tech-driven world Summer's used to. For Forrest, a former Marine scout sniper, Summer's arrival stirs up emotions he's long buried. And as they spend time together, sparks fly, and emotions run high. Summer finds herself torn between the life she's always known and the unexpected feelings Forrest ignites within her. Forrest, too, must confront his fears of opening up his heart, even if it's to someone who may not belong in his world. Will Summer return to her planned, predictable life, or will she dare to embrace the uncertainties of new love? And can Forrest let go of his guarded past to take a chance on a future with someone so different, yet so right?

Synopsis Lives Transformed by : Patricia C. Della Selva
The world has long awaited compelling and unmistakable evidence for the validity of dynamic psychotherapy. A review in the present book shows that such evidence has been accumulating over the past ten years. It comes from clinical trials, process research, case studies, and objective physiological measurements concerned with the importance of expressing emotions. This book extends the evidence. It provides an in-depth examination of therapy in action, based on verbatim accounts of the treatment of seven patients by the author, using the technique of Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (at times extending to medium-term). This technique has been shown to be both effective and cost-effective with a wide range of patients, including some who are notoriously resistant to psychotherapeutic intervention. The raw data of psychotherapeutic sessions enables the reader to trace the origin of therapeutic effects, which occur immediately in response to the direct experience of hitherto buried feelings and impulses.
