Originally known as the Syracuse Nationals, the 76ers moved to Philadelphia. Four years later, led by Wilt the Stilt Chamberlain, Philadelphia defeated the San Francisco Warriors to win the NBA title. During the 1972–1973 basketball season, the Philadelphia 76ers were not just a bad team; they were fantastically awful.
