Synopsis The Mephisto Kiss: The Mephisto Covenant by : Trinity Faegen
The eyes never lie. No one’s eyes are darker than Eryx’s. Not even the Devil’s. When Jax and Sasha first see Jordan Ellis, they know she is no ordinary teenager. She’s the daughter of the president, after all, but she’s also Anabo — a descendant of Eve. What they don’t know is that Eryx plans to kidnap Jordan and force President Ellis to pledge his soul. If Eryx’s plot succeeds, the consequences would be catastrophic. But the Mephisto brothers do know about Jordan’s secret identity. And for one of them, she could be the match that leads to his soul’s salvation. Now it’s a desperate race against time to save Jordan and prevent Eryx’s haunting eyes from discovering her true identity. A thrilling story of romance, danger, and intrigue, The Mephisto Kiss continues the marvelous mythology that began in The Mephisto Covenant.

Synopsis Only You by : Stephanie Feagan
Orphaned at six and sent to live with abusive relatives in Bucharest, Mariah learned early in life to box up violent, agonizing memories and put them in permanent mental storage. Now almost nineteen, she has a paying job, a tiny apartment, and a plan to attend university. She loves her independence and is steadily overcoming her past, but when an enigmatic stranger walks into the pub where she works and the trajectory of her life changes yet again, she begins to wonder if she'll run out of mental shelf space. The only females unafraid of the Mephisto brothers are the extremely rare Anabo, born without Original Sin. Over one hundred years ago, Phoenix was first to find one, but he made a fatal mistake and she was murdered by his oldest brother and enemy, Eryx. Phoenix soldiered through the next century wrapped up in grief and guilt, his only outlet planning takedowns of those who pledged their souls to Eryx. When one of his brothers brings Mariah to Mephisto Mountain, he's torn between his instinctive, powerful need to pursue her, and his certainty that he can never have her. Drawn into the world of the Mephisto, Mariah sees the pain and misery Eryx unleashes on humanity, and the boxes in her mind begin to fly open, one by one. All that keeps her from slipping off the edge is her unlikely, sexually charged friendship with Phoenix. He's incredibly screwed up; she's completely broken. It would take a miracle for them to find happiness. Then Eryx brings the war for Hell to a whole new level, forcing Mariah and Phoenix to make a choice that will bind them together for all eternity, or rip them apart forever

Growing up with her gregarious widower papa and six raucous older brothers, Jane was drawn to the handsome, taciturn duke and purposefully set her cap for him. Unfortunately, despite his attraction to her, the duke was less than impressed with her unladylike skills, and after he ruined her, then proposed at the same time he called her his very last choice as his duchess, she fled to Scotland. To keep the ducal title and holdings from reverting to the crown, Michael needs a wife to give him an heir - but he doesn't need to love her. Called the Duke of Death, a pariah said to have demon seed, Michael has lost three wives in childbed. His worst nightmare is following his father into grief driven madness after the woman he loved died. Now, she's returned to London and, just as he is her only choice, she is his last chance. She's determined to have a real marriage; he's determined to hold her at arm's length. But when the past catches up and old ghosts demand their due, Jane is devastated, and Michael risks everything to save his last duchess from permanent ruin. All he has to do is not fall in love.

Synopsis Crazy for You by : Stephanie Feagan
She's dying to love him. After the tragic death of her twin, British concert pianist Euri begins channeling a stranger in America, an otherworldly guy who leads an extraordinary life and shares her deep love of music. She hears him play, listens to his thoughts, knows his loneliness, and understands his yearning for love and acceptance. She's simply not sure if Zee is real, or a construct of her mind, so when she's given an opportunity to tour America, Euri jumps at the chance. Already half in love with him, she's overjoyed to find Zee in real life, but becomes frustrated with his determination to keep his distance, in spite of how much he wants and needs her. An immortal son of Hell, Zee is the mad Mephisto brother, plagued by a keen sixth sense that helps in their search for those who've sold their soul to their oldest brother, Eryx, but is a curse to Zee because his mind is an open door to the pain of humanity. He's known all of his life that he will never have a mate, even if he found an Anabo meant for him. She might be born without Original Sin and have the ability to love a son of Hell, but she would never be happy with him. He's at times violent, sometimes catatonic, and always oversexed. Worst of all, he has dreamed, every single night for a thousand years, of a tall blonde whom he loves and kills. He hates sleep, despises the dream, because it always ends the same. When he begins hearing a soft, British voice in his head, he's astonished to discover it's a real girl, an Anabo meant for him, but his elation quickly turns to horror when he realizes Euri is the girl in his dream. The one and only woman who can love him, who can save him, is the one he can never have.

Synopsis Might Is Right Or Survival of the Fittest by : Ragnar Redbeard
This is unabridged, original text of this infamous book. Might Is Right, or The Survival of the Fittest, is a book by pseudonymous author Ragnar Redbeard. First published in 1890, it heavily advocates social Darwinism, amoralism, and psychological hedonism. In Might is Right, Redbeard rejects conventional ideas of human and natural rights and argues that only strength or physical might can establish moral right (la Callicles). Libertarian historian James J. Martin called it "surely one of the most incendiary works ever to be published anywhere." Leo Tolstoy discussed the philosophy of Might Is Right in his 1897 essay What Is Art?: "The substance of this book, as it is expressed in the editor's preface, is that to measure "right" by the false philosophy of the Hebrew prophets and "weepful" Messiahs is madness. Right is not the offspring of doctrine, but of power. All laws, commandments, or doctrines as to not doing to another what you do not wish done to you, have no inherent authority whatever, but receive it only from the club, the gallows, and the sword. A man truly free is under no obligation to obey any injunction, human or divine. Obedience is the sign of the degenerate. Disobedience is the stamp of the hero. Men should not be bound by moral rules invented by their foes. The whole world is a slippery battlefield. Ideal justice demands that the vanquished should be exploited, emasculated, and scorned. The free and brave may seize the world. And, therefore, there should be eternal war for life, for land, for love, for women, for power, and for gold. The earth and its treasures is "booty for the bold." The author has evidently by himself, independently of Nietzsche, come to the same conclusions which are professed by the new artists."

Synopsis The Replacement by : Brenna Yovanoff
The Catcher in the Rye meets Edward Scissorhands in this chilling, gothic tale. Mackie Doyle is not one of us. Though he lives in the small town of Gentry, he comes from a world of tunnels and black murky water, a world of living dead girls ruled by a little tattooed princess. He is a Replacement, left in the crib of a human baby sixteen years ago. Now, because of fatal allergies to iron, blood, and consecrated ground, Mackie is fighting to survive in the human world. Mackie would give anything to live among us, to practice on his bass or spend time with his crush, Tate. But when Tate's baby sister goes missing, Mackie is drawn irrevocably into the underworld of Gentry, known as Mayhem. He must face the dark creatures of the Slag Heaps and find his rightful place, in our world, or theirs. Praise for The Replacement: 'I so loved this book' Lauren Kate, bestselling author of Fallen 'Eerie and beautiful' Maggie Stiefvater, bestselling author of Shiver 'This is a dark tale that will totally change any preconceptions you have about fairies' The Sun
