Matthew, the family’s only descendent to be able to get into the land of Advamal, has new found magical powers he uses to fight his way through his journey by way of Trolls, Imps and Ogres with a Magicl Box and a Bobbletift. Escaping the dungeon and fighting the sea creature by use of his magic gum he must save Allison from the Evil Warlock.

Text and illustrations, based on James Gurney's art commissioned for the Postal Service dinosaur stamp series, introduce thirteen dinosaurs and three other creatures found in North America during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
