'The Genial Idiot: His Views and Reviews' is a collection of sketches by the American author and satirist John Kendrick Bangs. The sketches were originally published as a column in the New York Times. They follow the main character, aptly named Mr. Idiot who, in various conversations with his friends, pokes fun at everything from fame to Valentine's Day to spring poetry. A great piece from a master satirist!
