This Collection of Studies is intended to illustrate the various elements of a complete course of pianoforte technique, and to provide students with the means of attacking and overcoming the different special difficulties which have to be encountered. With this view, the Studies have been arranged in groups, those in each group being placed in progressive order, and having reference to someone particular difficulty.
