The tops of the title-page and the one following in each voulme are rough, as these were united originally and had to be opened. Volume III has the 32 pages of Chapman & Hall's books, dated three times "May, 1861." Two of the volumes are ex-library copies, the joints are slightly worn, and one volume is stained on back cover.
