The scope of the bibliography is as follows: Citations selected relate directly to the Department of Transportation and such aspects of its development as its history, administration, aims, and goals; The bibliography does not delve exhaustively into the individual administrations within DOT, but concentrates on the Department as a whole, and Citations are selected from standard sources, so that as much as possible, materials listed are available through most libraries.
