Synopsis The Crow and the Troll by : Christopher D. Schmitz
A contract killer. A gorgeous victim. And a mystic garden hidden beyond the Winter Court. Remy Keaton is Aderyn Corff—the Death Bird—and a notorious assassin of the unseelie court. But what the fey don’t know is that Remy is a human… and that Remy hates killing. Too bad he’s so good at it. When Remy is forced to track down and murder a beautiful sidhe Lady of the Court whose only crime is being more attractive than Queen Rhagathena, he must ask himself difficult questions. The orc warlord who pulls Aderyn Corff’s strings demands blood, but perhaps there is some wiggle room in the spider queen’s hit-list… and perhaps ascertaining that is the key to breaking free of the arcane vow that binds the human to the fey’s service. Can Remy defeat the oath that has bound him to the spider queen’s service, or must he kill Lady Fenelope to satisfy the laws of his oath? This short story is a prequel in the Curse of the Fey Duelist series, beginning in book 1: A Kiss of Daggers. If you like dark fantasy, paranormal, and urban fantasy with elves, magic, and mystery, then you need this book. For fans of Sarah J. Maas, Holly Black, or Cassandra Clare.

Synopsis Troll Peter Discovers the Bog-Woman’S Secret and Other Stories by : Gerda Christensen
I dont think its fair to the trolls that in most literature they are described as horrible creatures. Not all of them are monsters. In my stories we are following the little, good-natured troll boy, Peter, through a summer. Together with his parents and old grandmother he lives in a hill far out on the Jutlandish moor in Denmark. Troll Peter is a curious little troll who likes to go exploring. But sometimes his adventures bring him into trouble, as when he falls down into the Bog-womans cave, and she wants him to stay there. He also ventures out to the Big Hill on Midsummer Eve and there he spots some witches flying on broomsticks on their way to The Blocken Mountain in Germany. That scares him! During the summer he meets other Danish folklore creatures, and he has many exciting adventures. Granny plays an important role in Troll Peters life. His parents are always busy providing food for the daily meals but Granny is always there, ready to comfort him. And the old troll woman knows that honey is the best medicine for all kinds of hurt. Troll Peter loves her very much.

Synopsis The Wild Reel by : Paul Brandon
When young Irish artist Natasha Newlyn paints, she hears music; a wild, secret symphony of ancient jigs and reels that accompany her stunning watercolor landscapes. Natasha lives in a small sea village in the far west of Ireland, the perfect place for her work...or at least it was until the dreams came. Starting as nothing more than vague erotic images, the dreams begin to grow. Then they begin to affect her art...and intrude into her real life. When an invitation arrives to attend her friend's wedding in Brisbane, Australia, Natasha seizes the chance to have a vacation and sort out her confused mind. But there is someone else who can also hear her secret music. Someone unearthly and dangerous. Someone who covets her: Finvarra, the Faerie King of Connaught. He has decided that she will be his next bride, and to that end he will follow her to the other side of the world. But the entire Irish Faerie Court is a little out of place in the sub-tropical streets of Brisbane, Australia; and like many things, winning the heart (or at least the soul) of a mortal just isn't as easy as it used to be.
