The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1984, volume 3, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from March 3 through December 16, 1984. At the beginning of March Brother Lee traveled to Brazil and spent most of March ministering there. At the end of March he returned from Brazil to Anaheim, California, and remained there until the middle of April. During the last two weeks in April, Brother Lee traveled to Stuttgart, Germany, and on his return to the United States he visited New York City; Washington, D.C.; and Newton, Massachusetts, during the month of May. At the end of May he ministered in Irving, Texas, and in the first few days in June he visited Denver, Colorado. At the end of June Brother Lee returned to Anaheim and remained there until the first week in October. From the middle of October until the middle of November, Brother Lee traveled to the Far East and ministered in Tokyo, Japan; Seoul, South Korea; Taipei, Taiwan; and Quezon City, Philippines. He returned to Anaheim for a few days in the middle of November, and near the end of November he traveled to Irving, where he remained until the end of the year. The contents of this volume are divided into two sections, as follows: 1. Seventeen messages given in Brazil on March 3 through 10. These messages were previously published in a fifteen-chapter book entitled The Divine Economy and are included in this volume under the same title. 2. Fifty-one messages given in Stuttgart, Germany; Washington, D.C.; Irving, Texas; Newton, Massachusetts; New York City; and Anaheim, California, on April 20 through December 16. These messages were previously published in a forty-four-chapter book entitled God's New Testament Economy and are included in this volume under the same title.

At the time of regeneration, all believers receive the divine life and are begotten as children of God. Yet, this life most grow and it does so by regulation unto maturity and function. This regulation comes from revelation and issues in obedience. This word is crucial for our progress and training in the divine life for our maturity and function in our living and service to God.

The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1983, volume 3, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from June 4, 1983, through January 1, 1984. At the beginning of June Brother Lee returned from Europe to the United States, visiting New York City during the first week in June and then traveling to Irving, Texas, and remaining there for two weeks before proceeding to Anaheim, California. Brother Lee remained in Anaheim until the middle of July, and then he visited Berkeley and San Jose, California, before returning to Anaheim at the end of July. From the beginning of August until the end of the third week in November Brother Lee ministered in Anaheim. He then traveled to Irving and remained in Irving until he returned to Anaheim at the beginning of 1984. The contents of this volume are divided into ten sections, as follows: 1. “We must realize that we Christians are a meeting people. A Christian is a meeting person. Without meeting, there is no Christian life and no church life. It is rather difficult for any Christian to grow without attending the meetings. There is no way for any Christian to serve God without meetings, and it is impossible for Christians to express Christ if there are no meetings. The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1986, volume 3, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from June 8, 1986, through July 9, 1989. At the beginning of June 1986 Brother Lee returned from Taipei, Taiwan, to Anaheim, California, and was there for a few days before traveling to Irving, Texas, after the third week of June. He spent about two weeks in Irving, and from there he returned to Anaheim and ministered there until the end of August. In the last few days in August Brother Lee returned to Taipei and remained there until the end of the first week in October. Brother Lee then returned to Anaheim and spent about a month there before returning to Taipei in November. "The entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, shows us that God is our enjoyment. God also has His fullness (Eph. 3:19b). He is full for us to enjoy. His fullness is the expression of the riches of Christ, and the reality of Christ is in the Spirit. We know this by the revelation of the Word. The riches of Christ are revealed in the Word. Furthermore, we can realize God as our enjoyment in our spirit (John 4:24)."

Throughout the centuries of church history the Lord has progressively carried out His work of recovery. In this book, Witness Lee shows that the Lord's present advance is to recover the priesthood of the gospel, the organic building up of the Body of Christ, the perfecting of the believers, and the speaking of God's word for the building of the Body of Christ. He concludes with help as to how we can practice these four matters.

The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1987, volume 3, contains messages given by Brother Witness Lee from August 12, 1987, through January 2, 1988. After the first week in July 1987, Brother Lee traveled to Taipei, Taiwan, from Anaheim, California. He remained in Taipei until the first week in December, after which he returned to Anaheim briefly before going on to Irving, Texas. He remained in Irving through the remainder of 1987 and the first few days of 1988. The contents of this volume are divided into seven sections, as follows: 1.
