"The Black Poodle, and Other Tales" is a collection of short stories written by F. Anstey. The tales are mostly children's tales with a sense of humour to them. The title story, "The Black Poodle" for instance is a comical tale of a man whose careless mistake leads him to be accused of the theft of his neighbor's dog.
