This Volumes Of Me #3: Going Public represents my third year of writing and saving poetry, 1991. Where I wrote longer poems in my first year I began to write shorter, more succinct poems this year. The "Going Public" of the subtitle for this year reflects the fact that I found a public forum to share my poetry.

Share My Shorts #1: Adjusting My Freudian Slip is the first collection (probably not the last) of my short-short poems, ten lines or less. My idea for a short poem is to pack as much punch into as few words as possible, maximizing the impact. I feel that this compaction is one of the beauties of poetry. It allows a lot of thinking on the part of the reader within a short time frame and is easier to remember later. Beware you don't read too many at one sitting; they might be easy going down, but they have a tendency to explode inside you later. You have been warned! Introductory discount for lulu patrons.

This Cats All Around represents many of my poems concerning or about cats or catlike worlds of people. You don't have to be a cat lover to enjoy these poems, but it could help on some of them. I love cats, especially kittens, but think they are better off outdoors; even if you are an indoors cat person you should find something in here to fancy your tickle.
