Synopsis Splintered Souls by : Cynthia Lyn
Kerry Sullivan, a transgendered male-to-female hospitalized psychiatric patient has disappeared from the unit in the middle of the night. She is unlike the nurse's typical depressed patient. She is horrified that she made the biggest mistake of her life! And Kathryn Kane, her nurse, is afraid that something dreadful has happened to her. Detective Marc Malone catches the case and works to piece together why and who would be instrumental in Kerry's disappearance. At the same time, a bizarre pattern of events start unraveling in the Windy City. A series of single, brunette women are found murdered and thrown in Chicago dumpsters. Special Agent Patrick Makenna becomes involved with Detective Sam Waters when questions arise related to a three-year old cold case he's been working on with a similar signature to these new cases. Does the abduction of Kerry have any connection to these serial murders? Meanwhile, Kathryn is taking an unusual interest in both cases, even to the point of dreaming about the murders before they occur! Kathryn is also single and brunette. Will she be next in this game of death? Will Kerry be found on time? Or is she the killer? From Chicago to San Diego to Las Vegas the race is on to find answers before madness strikes again.

The Seat of the Soul encourages you become the authority in your own life. It will change the way you see the world, interact with other people, and understand your own actions and motivations. Synopsis Catholic Cults and Devotions by : Michael P. Carroll
Imagine a heart which has been ripped from a man's body, wrapped with thorns, pierced with a knife, and then placed on the man's chest; or a group of people who believe that wearing a small rectangle of wool next to their skin ensures that they will go to heaven - as long as it is brown wool and worn continuously. Although psychoanalysts have long investigated similar ideas and beliefs, they have ignored popular Catholicism, even though behaviour such as this occurs over and over again in the history of Catholic cults and devotions.

Synopsis Orlam by : PJ Harvey
Nine-year-old Ira-Abel Rawles lives on Hook Farm in the village of Underwhelem. Next to the farm is Gore Woods, Ira’s sanctuary, overseen by Orlam, the all-seeing lamb’s eyeball who is Ira-Abel’s guardian and protector. Here, drawing on the rituals, children’s songs, chants and superstitions of the rural West Country of England, Ira-Abel creates the twin realm through which she can make sense of an increasingly confusing and frightening world. Orlam follows Ira and the inhabitants of Underwhelem month by month through the last year of her childhood innocence. The result is a poem-sequence of light and shadow – suffused with hints of violence, sexual confusion and perversion, the oppression of family, but also ecstatic moments in sunlit clearings, song and bawdy humour. The broad theme is ultimately one of love – carried by Ira’s personal Christ, the constantly bleeding soldier-ghost Wyman-Elvis, who bears ‘The Word’: Love Me Tender. Orlam is not only a remarkable coming-of-age tale, but the first full-length book written in the Dorset dialect for many decades. Orlam also reveals P J Harvey as not only one of the most talented songwriters of the age, but a gifted poet – whose formal skill, transforming eye and ear for the lyric line has produced a strange and moving poem like no other.

Synopsis Signatures upon Cantata by : Smithson Buchi Ahiabuike
This anthology of political poems lends a voice of patriotism to political protests as a free born of Africa. These poems have been written in protests to the evils of corruption in the continent of Africa and most other third-world countries. In the process, the author has lent his voice with the protests for good governance in Africa. In the same vein, he has many laments on the lack of patriotism in Africa and how much that has set the continent back, compared to the Asian tigers that started in the same footing with Africa. It is true that Africa was the last frontiers of conquests by the colonial explorers and pirates, but there is nothing hard about learning from others who have been there to not make the same mistakes that characterized most nation builders. It is true that one of the banes of African politics is her numerous ethnic groups and the need to satisfy everyone, but we cannot fail to acknowledge that the world is changing pretty fast and that we need to adapt to those changes, so as not to be left in the dark.
