These are the lecture notes for addresses I proposed to deliver to the Sikh youth of thePunjab. But as I am placed in the desert away from the towns where they gather, I let these goundelivered. And also because the Sikh youth are running in haste after shadows, turning theirbacks on the Sun of Suns, the Guru. This world of the Guru, the Beautiful, is different and theirworld how different; so to them the values of fiction and fact have been hopelessly interchanged.Still, I hope these addresses will reach them by and by.And the Sikh youth is everywhere, the youth that has the disciple-consciousness, aspiringto love, the Beautiful, which alone is truly good, truly noble, and truly divine. The Book of the Ten Masters is the record of the teachers of the Sikhs. The history of human civilization took a new turn when the Sikh Gurus appeared on the scene of Medieval India. The Sikh movement served as a light-house for the people groping in the dark. They were then changed men and elevated to the stage of the ideal man i.e. Gurmukh.

A spiritual person is when their mind becomes one with the Creator God. Then, the mind absorbs the qualities of God and acts like a spiritual master. He is no more under the effects of Maya, which is another of Gods creation in which the mind is prisoner and to its five vices (lust, anger, greed, attachments and ego). It becomes calm, quiet, peaceful, acts to the Will of God and is in bliss always. It happens when the Mind is meditating on God and thinks about God always. For this spiritual mind, everything happening in the world is OK as its happening to His Will. He lives a life of truthful dealings with other persons, earns an honest living and shares with others. He becomes pure in thoughts, words and deeds. His mind becomes pure like its Creator, Himself. He is the most dependable friend and reliable companion. The above qualities can be achieved by one who only lives for the service of people and to whom everybody is the child of God. This person has no desires for him and lives for his family and others. His happiness lies in service and the welfare of others. Such a person has no desires and attachments in this world and lives a worry free life; always content with his/her lot. This book tells how to achieve such a state of mind. The mind is Gods child and we here, on Earth, to play in the hands of God as per destiny written by Him. If we accept Him, pray to Him and meditate on him in the way this book guides, there is a chance to win freedom from the cycle of births and deaths and live with him in peace and bliss forever. The path to bliss and peace is fully explained in this book.

It is an old trick in the intelligence setup of major states to create their own stringent but controlled opposition. This has a twofold objective. First, it attracts and centralizes opposition resources and honest grassroots members, inciting them to put on a great show of force. Second, it ensures that this "resistance" remains only a pretense and prevents them from achieving anything of real value because the duplicitous leadership don't want any true change to come of it.It has always been a challenge to maintain the purity of any movement or organization. Infiltrating to sabotage from within and give a bad name, thus justifying the unleashing of oppression, has often been the basic framework in which the intelligence agencies have worked in India in the context of suppressing minorities. But this is very difficult to document.The author of this short but incisive book has done a wonderful job of exposing a fraudulent scheme which seems to have no other purpose than to stifle our Sikh community's political voice in the United States of America. In this particular case of the Sikh Caucus, the deception has been named and nailed. This kind of documentation is perhaps the most effective way of leading the community to the straight path.Treading that path is necessary to avoid being bogged down in the quicksand of extreme slogans made without any preparation or consideration of the consequences - something which accomplishes nothing more than to attract a disproportionate reaction that decimates the true struggle. Perhaps in the future, the community will take greater care to avoid emotionally pledging unquestioning loyalty to the people who display the most influence and power, only to finally find themselves betrayed.
