Synopsis Sifar (Monologue) by :

Yeh amanat hai meri sab batein tum jitna itrawogi, qabool hai. Par haan qayamat mein mujhe sunawogi. Yeh hissa jab bhi tum padhogi, samajh lena akeli raat mein bahut kam Roshni mein, tumhare liye likha hai mein. Tum khush hojawogi. This book “SIFAR” is divided into two parts, the former is “the book of imagination”. Which is that very world that exists only in words, where you feel very relaxed and you can change this world through within your mind. The later book is “The Book of Intelligence” which deals with the changes in the current world and the life one is living. This book is the most beautiful feeling. It took me almost 4 years to write these beautiful thoughts, it's not easy to enter that world that exists only in your mind and to live with.

Synopsis Soliloquy! by : Michael Earley

(Applause Books). Your one-stop classical workshop! At last, over 175 of Shakespeare's finest and most performable monologues taken from all thirty-seven plays are here in two easy-to-use volumes (Men and Women). Selections travel the entire spectrum of the great dramatist's vision, from comedies, wit and romances, to tragedies, pathos and histories. Soliloquy! is an excellent and comprehensive collection of Shakespeare's speeches. Not only are the monologues wide-ranging and varied, but they are superbly annotated. Each volume is prefaced by an informative and reassuring introduction, which explains the signals and signposts by which Shakespeare helps the actor on his journey through the text. It includes a very good explanation of blank verse, with excellent examples of irregularities which are specifically related to character and acting intentions. These two books are a must for any actor in search of a 'classical' audition piece.' Elizabeth Smith, Voice Director, Juilliard

Synopsis Monologue by : Alexandra Roceric

A Monologue on the Shores of the River of Life is a collection of thoughts by Romanian-American author, Alexandra Roceric. They spring from simple musings -- ones not easily classified thematically. They make no pretensions at being ultimate truth. It is even difficult to categorize them as aphorisms, proverbs, or maxims. They might not even qualify as good advice in the classical sense! Simply put, they are propositions and questions; they are never spoken in jest. After my husbands passing, thoughts were whirling around in the vacuum created by his absence. Yes, my sounding board was gone, but slowly some of these thoughts began to voice themselves. What had once been dynamic dialogue morphed into a powerful monologue. Now in print, this Monologue just might elicit a response from some and even stimulate others.
