Dianne Threatt Evans is a Professor Emerita of Psychology, having retired from the University of South Carolina, Lancaster campus. During her career as a teacher, professor, counselor, and school psychologist, she has received numerous awards for distinguished teaching and writing. Saving Remnants is her second book. Through a series of short, real-life stories, Evans has written this book to pay homage to emotionally-disturbed and socially-maladjusted children and to those who seek to help them. It contains remnants of real children in public schools (K-12). You will meet some of the children she had the responsible privilege of serving in her role as a state certified (SC) teacher for the emotionally-handicapped and as a nationally certified school psychologist.
