Synopsis Saving Private Power by : Michael Zezima
Virulently questions the ultra-patriotic assumptions we have been taught since birth about the reasons behind the second World War, and the underlying assumptions which have underpinned involvement of the US and other countries.

Synopsis Saving Private Healthcare by : Michael Kalthoff
The U.S. healthcare system will financially collapse in three to five years if we stay on our current path. Millions will lose their health insurance, thousands of doctors will leave medicine, wait times for medical care will dramatically increase, and quality of care will plummet. Saving Private Healthcare calls out the many problems in healthcare, including the new Obamacare law, then offers a pure, open-market, commonsense, and complete re-design of all sectors of our healthcare system with a sweeping new approach called The Saving Private Healthcare Initiative. "The Initiative" is both a powerful and easy-to-understand plan combined with a large organization of both private citizens and healthcare experts who will bring down healthcare costs by two-thirds or $2 trillion per year by 2022. We must have a complete solution to our healthcare crisis, a well-constructed implementation plan, as well as an open-market, energized movement to actually make it happen.Welcome to Saving Private Healthcare. "If there was ever a book for today, this is it. As well-intentioned lead-ers wrestle self-interest groups over health reform, this book offers commonsense direction and comprehensive guidelines on how we as a nation can dramatically lower healthcare costs without reducing everyone's access to high quality healthcare." - Ilene Little, CEO, Traveling4Health.com "This is the kind of out-of-the-box, innovative thinking that we need to restore affordability to our healthcare system using open-market, non-governmental solutions." - Dr. Alieta Eck, president, Association of American Physicians and Surgeons"

Synopsis Understanding the F-Word by : David McGowan
By offering a radical review of the last one hundred years of US history, this work is intended as a counterpoint to the rampant revisionism of the flurry of books glorifying the "American Century". Beginning with the rather bold and decidedly controversial assertion that the current political system in place in the United States at the dawn of the twenty-first century is fascism, the first part of this book attempts to justify that claim by first defining exactly what fascism iscorrecting various widely-held misconceptionsand then analyzing how closely we as a nation conform to that definition. Also included is a review of some of the hidden history and key events of World War II. Part II offers a retrospective of the twentieth century American presidential administrations, to demonstrate that the steady and inexorable march towards overt fascism was a defining characteristic that remained unchanged. The final section looks at the still very much alive eugenics movement, and analyzes the role played by the psychiatric establishment in validating the fascist state. This book will surely find no shortage of detractors, but if read with an open mind, it just may change the way you view the world.

Synopsis Private Power and Global Authority by : A. Claire Cutler
Transnational merchant law, which is mistakenly regarded in purely technical and apolitical terms, is a central mediator of domestic and global political/legal orders. By engaging with literature in international law, international relations and international political economy, the author develops the conceptual and theoretical foundations for analyzing the political significance of international economic law. In doing so, she illustrates the private nature of the interests that this evolving legal order has served over time. The book makes a sustained and comprehensive analysis of transnational merchant law and offers a radical critique of global capitalism.

Synopsis The Heart of What Matters by : Anthony Cunningham
"This is a wonderful book--beautifully written, deeply moving, and philosophically well argued. I loved it."—Nel Noddings, author of Caring: A Feminine Approach to Ethics and Moral Education "This book gives us something all too rare in contemporary philosophical writing: a passionate, careful, deeply sympathetic and sustained analysis of some important literary narratives in aid of a clearly defined philosophical project. Whether one agrees with Cunningham's conclusions or not, his treatment of the texts is inspiring and illuminating."—Lawrence C. Becker, author of A New Stoicism

Synopsis Cambodia by : International Monetary Fund
This 2011 Article IV Consultation reports that Cambodia’s high degree of dollarization and largely reduced fiscal space constrain the authorities’ ability to cushion shocks. Macroeconomic stability hinges on prudent fiscal policies. The mission cautioned that fiscal space is limited and that greater consolidation efforts are needed to strengthen revenue administration and prioritize spending. The outlook for external debt sustainability has improved on Cambodia’s prudent track record, but potentially large contingent liabilities from public–private power sector projects need to be carefully managed.

Synopsis Cambodia by : International Monetary Fund. Asia and Pacific Dept
Despite the global slowdown, Cambodia’s economy has been holding up, driven by resilient exports and tourism and a strong real estate recovery. Fiscal policy has remained anchored in rebuilding government deposits and maintaining long-term fiscal debt sustainability, while providing adequate financing for Cambodia’s vast development needs. Executive Directors identified greater mobilization of fiscal revenues imperative to rebuild government deposits, and maintained that focus should be on measures that would generate substantial additional revenue and create strong positive externalities.
