2013 Reprint of 1935 Edition. Exact facsimile of the original edition, not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. Learn to use practical Rosicrucian principles to help solve your everyday problem both at home and in business dealings. This book gives you specific examples of how to attain health, happiness, and success. Avoid the delays and disappointments that stand between you and your goals by recognizing the right and wrong ways to use metaphysical and mystical principles. Spencer was a founder of the Ancient and Mystic Order Rosae Crucis (AMORC), a modern revival Rosicrucian order headquartered at San Jose, California. Lewis was born in Frenchtown, New Jersey, November 25, 1883, of Welsh ancestry. In 1904 Lewis founded and served as president of the New York Institute for Psychical Research. The institute specialized in occult studies with emphasis on Rosicrucian teachings. The AMORC was organized in several stages over the next years, and by 1917 held its first national convention in Pittsburgh, at which Lewis established his plan to develop correspondence courses. AMORC taught philosophical and mystical practices in order to develop the latent faculties of man, and it sold literature by mail order. Lewis himself authored the basic set of correspondence lessons and a number of the books published by AMORC.

Synopsis True and Invisible Rosicrucian Order by : Paul Foster Case
This is a thorough presentation of the Rosicrucian system of initiation by Dr. Paul Foster Case. He explains that Rosicrucianism is based upon earthly organizations, but on personal unflodment, and clearly describes the distinctive marks of a Rosicrucian. The treatise is divided into two main parts by Dr. Case. The first is a careful examination and interpretation of the principle Rosicrucian maneifestos, the Fama Fraternitatis and the Confessio Fraternitatis. The second part is an explanation of the Rosicrucian grade system, as applied to the diagram of the Tree of Life and tarot attributions. By participating in the outlined procedures, aspirants are put on the right track of preparing themselves for union with the Higher Self, which may or may not include group work with an outer order or fraternity. The first editions of 1927, 1928 and 1933 were of limited publication. The fourth and most complete expansion of the text by Paul Case was finished in 1937, revised by him in 1953 just before his death and published in by Weiser in 1985. It represents the full maturity of his thought on this subject.

Synopsis Rosicrucian Wisdom by : Rudolf Steiner
The work of Rudolf Steiner is unique in the way it combines esoteric teaching with practical suggestions for the development of social life. Indeed, Steiner is best known today for the application of his ideas in areas such as education, medicine and agriculture. But none of this could have developed without the coherent and profound body of spiritual knowledge which stands at the very core of Steiner's work. In Rosicrucian Wisdom - one of his most complete introductions to modern spirituality - Steiner speaks out of the stream of Rosicrucian teaching. But rather than borrowing old ideas from historical tradition, Steiner presents a wholly new contribution arising from the results of his own experiential research. He talks of the Rosicrucian path as being appropriate for the modern spiritual seeker, but warns that Rosicrucian teaching should not be taken as abstract theory. Rather than remaining in the head or even the heart, spiritual ideas should reach into daily action, transforming all aspects of life. Steiner goes on to describe many facets of spiritual truth, including the law of destiny, the fact of life after death, ways of developing spiritual vision, humanity's past and future evolution, and much more.

Synopsis The Invisible History of the Rosicrucians by : Tobias Churton
The first complete historical and philosophical investigation into the “invisible fraternity” of the Rosicrucians • Contains the latest research on the origins of the Rosicrucian movement • Presents the ties between Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, and the Templars • Written by a “perfected” Knight of the Rose Croix and the Pelican (18th degree, Ancient and Accepted Rite) For nearly 400 years, incredible myths and stories have been woven around the “invisible” Brothers of the Rose Cross, the Rosicrucians. It is said that they possessed the secret of man and God, that they could turn lead into gold, that they governed Europe in secret, that theirs was the true philosophy of Freemasonry, and that they could save--or destroy--the world. In The Invisible History of the Rosicrucians, Tobias Churton, a “perfected” Knight of the Rose Croix and the Pelican (18th degree, Ancient and Accepted Rite), presents the first definitive historical and philosophical view of this mysterious brotherhood. Starting at its beginnings in Germany in 1603, Churton unveils the truth behind the complex story that underlies the Rosicrucian movement. He explains its purpose, the motives of its earliest creators, and the manifestos “accidentally” published in the 17th century that emerged at precisely the time when modern science was emerging. He details the people who influenced its development--including Johannes Kepler, Robert Fludd, and Sir Francis Bacon--and the ties between the Rosicrucians, Freemasons, and Templars. He also shows how Rosicrucianism shaped the mythology and spiritual consciousness of both North and South America and reveals that there are many Rosicrucian fraternities still active throughout the world today.

Synopsis ROSICRUCIAN MANUAL by : Harvey Spencer Lewis
Originally published by The Supreme Grand Lodge of the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis (AMORC) in 1918 and again in 1929, with several reissues, the Rosicrucian Manual is an official manual for new members of the AMORC and Rosicrucianism. The AMORC Imperator and author of the book, H. Spencer Lewis, describes the manual as a ""Guide to the Work and Studies of the Order."" It contains a greeting and preliminary instructions, as well as a description of the AMORC and its important officers, general and special instructions to Members and Lodges, Mystic Symbols and their meanings, magical and alchemical explanations, and a dictionary and FAQ. HARVEY SPENCER LEWIS (1883-1939), a well-known Rosicrucian author, mystic, occultist, alchemist, and inventor, was the founder of the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis (AMORC) in the USA, as well as its first Imperator from 1915 until his death. Born in Frenchtown, New Jersey, Lewis used his training as a commercial artist for an advertising company to promote the AMORC in its early days through print ads and pamphlets. Lewis believed it was his mission to spread modern mysticism throughout the United States, which he did by promoting AMORC tours, appearing on radio shows, giving demonstrations, writing books, and inventing mystical devices. His inventions include the Luxatone, the Cosmic Ray Coincidence Counter, and the Sympathetic Vibration Harp.

Synopsis Unto Thee I Grant by : Sri Ramatherio
2014 Reprint of 1932 Sixth Edition. Full facsimile of the original edition, not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. Originally published as part of the Rosicrucian library Volume 5, this work is divided into 12 sections, and offers timeless advice on ethics, morality, man's duty to himself, his family and his society and his place in the universe. The book is thought by some to have been written by the Egyptian Pharaoh Amenhotep IV during the years 1360 to 1350 B.C. More commonly known as Akenaton, the pharaoh is generally credited as being the founder of the world's earliest monotheistic religion. The language is poetic and the advice is timeless. Written in a style similar to the biblical Book of Proverbs, "Unto The I Grant" uses vivid sayings so its counsel will be easily remembered when needed. For example, when the author warns against seeking revenge for earthly slights, he writes: Revenge is painful in the intent, and it dangerous in the execution; seldom doth the axe fall where he who lifted it up intended; and lo, he remembereth not that it will recoil against him. It is noteworthy how true these discourses remain 3000 years after they were written. The sections on dealing with servants and subordinates are a text book modern managers could learn much from. Whether you are looking for a code of ethics, a manual for modern living or just good literature, Unto Thee I Grant would be a must for the library of any sincere seeker.
