O'Brien) of counsel for the said Patten Smith Bridge, and on reading the affidavits of the said Patten Smith Bridge, Patrick Kelly, Edward Green Foley, Joseph James Walker and Nathaniel Buckley, the article, letter or writing in said affidavits referred to in the newspaper called the Cork Examiner, under date of and dated "Thursday morning, April 13, 1876"; exhibit "A" verified by the affidavit of the said Patten Smith Bridge, headed and designated "The Recent Agrarian Outrage," commencing "From time immemorial," and ending and subscribed with the words and name "J. S. Casey"; the letter or exhibit marked "D," of "May 13, 1876," signed "J. S.
