Sherry Anne, an award-winning artist, is a featured singer, speaker and author at various events across the country and beyond. Born partially deaf and speech-impaired, she overcame great obstacles to achieve her Doctorate degree and other accolades, making it her mission to inspire others to live a life of hope, passion, faith and ambition. In 2017, Sherry Anne's niece and nephew lost their mother to cancer at a young age. Robert Wyatt started out as the drummer and singer for Soft Machine, who shared a residency at Middle Earth with Pink Floyd and toured America with the Jimi Hendrix Experience. He brought a jazz mindset to the 1960’s rock scene, having honed his drumming skills in a shed at the end of Robert Graves’ garden in Mallorica, Spain. Wyatt's life took an abrupt turn in 1973, when he fell from a fourth-floor window at a party and was paralyzed from the waist down. He reinvented himself as a singer and composer with the extraordinary album Rock Bottom, which he followed with an idiosyncratic string of records that uniquely combine the personal and political. Along the way, Robert has worked with the likes of Brian Eno, Bjork, Jerry Dammers, Charlie Haden, David Gilmour, Paul Weller and Hot Chip. Marcus O’Dair has talked to all of them—indeed anyone who has shaped, or been shaped by Wyatt over five decades. Different Every Time is the first biography of Robert Wyatt, and it was written with his full participation. It includes illustrations by Alfreda Benge and photographs from Robert’s personal archive.

The idea for this book of limericks came about pretty much out of nowhere one day while lunching with several good "buddies." Thanks Carl, Ed, Richard, et al.! We all had reminiscences about life in general and our experiences growing up and in our work. I was surprised how often my memories came out in a rhyme. Throughout the course of writing these limericks, I found that many of them popped into my head at bedtime or upon rising in the morning. They cover all aspects of life, both humorous and words to live by. It is my hope that they will provide humor to some and inspiration to others. One note of caution, the first names used in my limericks are not meant to reflect upon any family member or acquaintance. I dedicate this book to my "big sister," Loma; my mother, who passed away in 1999, and several siblings (and cousin Garth) who, in one way or another, prompted me to publish this book.
