Synopsis Pygmy Goats as Pets. Pygmy Goat Owners Manual. Pygmy Goats Care, Housing, Interacting, Feeding and Health. by : Ludwig Lorrick

Pygmy goats are the most adorable goat breed. They are miniature goats that provide the best source of entertainment to goat owners across the globe. Pygmy goats were introduced to the world from central Africa. These goats were the result of a type of dwarfism. However, because of their hardiness and because of their calm and friendly nature, they were taken into individual homes. Another important trait of the pygmy goat is their size. This makes them the perfect urban backyard pet. They are not as demanding for space or food as other dairy goats but provide milk that is of better quality. Therefore, these goats are great pets to have. It is important to understand when you are bringing home a pet goat that this animal needs special care and attention. They are seldom found in the urban set up. They are usually raised in large numbers on farms and also in designated commercial set ups where there is ample professional help available to take care of these animals. If you are planning to bring a goat home, on the other hand, you must invest a lot more time doing your homework and research about this animal in the first place. You must be sure that you can take on this responsibility before you make a commitment. This book covers all the subjects including how choosing your goats, how to take care of the goat, how to feed them and even how to ensure that they are always healthy. This book is perfect for a first time owner. Covered in this book: - History - What you need to know before you buy - Housing - Grooming - Daily care - Milking - Interacting - Breeding - Health and well being - Insurance - Costs .... and much more

Synopsis Complete Pygmy Goats Training Guide by : Dr Waylon Wesley

Pygmy goats are a domestic variety of goat that are said to have originated in the Cameroon region of West African. They belong to the class Mammalia. It is possible to find forms very similar to these all over northern and southwestern Africa. The scientific name for these animals is Capra aegagrus hircus, which derives from the Latin terms for she-goat (capra) and he-goat (hircus) (hircus). Pygmy goats, who are known for their small size and outgoing personality, are now commonly maintained as pets in many different locations. Pygmy goats are also referred to as dwarf goats due to the fact that they only reach a maximum height of 20 inches during their lifetime. The ladies can weigh anywhere from 35 to 50 pounds, while the males can weigh anything from 40 to 60 pounds. They come in a wide variety of hues, including white/caramel, dark red, silver/black with frosted spots, solid black, and brown. The choice of colors is rather extensive. Characteristics of the breed that are viewed favorably include the absence of beards in females and the presence of a broad, long mane that spans the shoulders in males. Although they are primarily used for meat, these goats do have the ability to produce a very tiny amount of milk. They have pupils that are rectangular in shape and a stomach that is divided into four chambers. Their hooves have two toes each. They are nimble climbers thanks to their hooves, which have two toes each, and their pupils, which are rectangular, allow them to view 280 degrees in all directions surrounding their body. Because of this, they are able to search the surroundings for potential dangers. In addition to this, goats have a four-chambered stomach that is populated by bacteria that are responsible for breaking down the cellulose found in the vegetation that goats consume. Their first stomach has an incredible capacity of 10 quarts, which enables them to consume massive quantities of food in a short period of time.
