As a prelude to the four days' celebration of the 375th anniversary of the settlement of Medford, and in commemoration of Flag day, the Society of the Sons of the Revolution dedicated a tablet on a bowlder of Medford granite to the memory of Capt. Isaac Hall, who commanded the Medford minutemen at Lexington and Bunker Hill in the Revolutionary War. The bowlder is in place in the yard of the former residence of Capt. Hall, corner of Bradlee Road and High Street. On the bronze tablet facing High Street is this inscription: --ON THIS SITE LIVED CAPTAIN ISAAC HALL WHO COMMANDED THE MEDFORD MINUTE MEN AT LEXINGTON AND BUNKER HILL. PAUL REVERE STOPPED HERE ON HIS MEMORABLE RTDE TO CONCORD APRIL 18-19, 1775. TO WARN CAPTAIN HALL THAT THE BRITISH SOLDIERS WERE ON THE MARCH. PLACED BY THE MASSACHUSETTS SOCIETY SONS OF THE REVOLUTION JUNE 14, 1905. The presentation address was made by Eben F.
