Excerpt from Proceedings of the Sixth Annual Convention, Vol. 6: Held at Chicago, Illinois, February 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 1910 That we, the undersigned, all of whom are citizens of the United States, and a majority of whom are residents of the District of Columbia, have associated ourselves together for the purpose hereinafter sec forth and desiring that we may be incorporated as an Association under sub-chapter three (3) of the Incorporation Laws of the District of Columbia, as provided in the Code of Law of the District of Columbia, enacted by Congress and approved by the President of the United States, do hereby certify: " 1.Name. The name of the proposed corporation is The National Association of Cement Users. 2. Term of Existence, The existence of the said corporation shall be perpetual. 3. Objects. The particular business and objects of the said corporation shall be to disseminate information and experience upon and to promote the best methods to be employed in the various uses of cement by means of convention, the reading and discussion of papers upon materials of a cement nature and their uses, by social and friendly intercourse at such conventions, the exhibition and study of materials, machinery and methods and to circulate among its members by means of publications the information thus obtained. 4.
