Synopsis Pranked by : Katy Grant
" Dear __________, I dreaded coming to camp Pine Haven and my first week here was the worst. While my best friend was sunbathing on the beach in Hawaii, I was stuck with outdoor showers, a rickety cabin, and only one friend -- quiet, boring Melissa. Then the "Evil Twins" showed up. It turned out they're totally cool and they wanted to be my friend! They're not really evil -- well, not to me, at least. They AREN'T too nice to Melissa. We started playing a few pranks and it's kind of gotten out of controlÉ.I know I should put a stop to thinks, but I don't want to lose my only friends here. I just hope that I don't do anything I regret. Love, Kelly

And when the adults won’t listen, us kids will find a way to be heard – as long as we can stay out of detention! No activist is too small, no prank too big... and things are about to get personal.

Synopsis Pranked Straight by : Eric Hertz
Ex-con ruins racist gang! He pranks the hell out of them. Comic, yet touching. (This is subtle literary fiction.) Members of an all-white prison gang threaten Patrick, a white ex-con who deals meth in San Diego and who likes all races. Patrick quits crime and befriends the police. Then he and a con artist legally prank and harass the racists. When a law-abiding Asian American woman informs Patrick that he got her pregnant, he immediately marries her. Asians now in his family, Patrick destroys the racist gang, pranking them with a vengeance, until they get hurt, go straight, or get arrested. Review: Watch out! Eric Hertz is a master of satire. Pranked Straight is a scathing lampoon, and Eric's wit is extra dry (so bitterly dry you might not notice it). But the story is rolling, fluid, and exciting. This is an interracial adventure. It's like George Orwell meets Joseph Wambaugh (with a dash of Harper Lee). But this story is written in a modern style, set in San Diego. I especially admire the endearing way Mr. Hertz portrays Mexican gangsters in this novel. Juan Neptune - Mexico City Literary Club

Synopsis Pranked with Her Stepdad by : A.D. Barnes
It was a prank gone wrong, but for me it ended so right. My stepdad and his brothers have had a prank war going for decades. They narrowed it down with some edicts over the years — only prank on April Fool's Day, no one can hide out at home, no pranking spouses or kids, no property damage or risking anyone's job. Otherwise, it's all out war. But when one of the pranks goes a little awry, I'm called in to help my stepdad. Only I get trapped right along with him. Once I got involved, it broke one of the edicts of the war, but then it's my stepdad and me breaking all the rules.

Diana was forced to live with her mother after her father's tragic death. Depression wasn't the best state for the young widow as she inflicted all the pain on her teenage daughter. She ignored all her duties as a mother and it became the responsibility of Diana to take care of her family. Bluefall's popular prankster and lady's man, Dylan Kings had all every child his age could wish for. Money, looks, luxury. He was popularly known for pulling pranks on people for the sake of fun. After making a huge mistake by pulling a prank on a nerd and hoping to get away with it, Diana became the first and only person to plot revenge against him. Two different lives meet for the sake of a prank. Pink dye gushed out of his locker to his face. He was glued to one position, "DIANA!!" He yelled. He was far beyond mad faced me with pure anger on his face. "Sorry, I should... I should have kept purple dye!" I laughed using his phrase against him. "It's a fucking dye?!" "Of course, barbie," I said. People were laughing their butts off.
