Book 1: Wrapped Up Book 2: Knocked Up Book 3: Tied Up Book 4: Pinned Down Book 5: Down for the Count Book 6: Touch Me Down Book 7: Locked In Book 8: Locked On Him Book 9: Lock It Up HE’S GOT ME PINNED DOWN – AND I NEVER WANT TO LEAVE. Cade “Lucky” Hendrix does things his own way. He’s a winner on the field and a sinner in the bedroom. There’s only one catch: he’ll never have the same girl twice. Kendra Boles has no time for arrogant jocks trying to get in her “end zone.” She’s got her hands full after the director of the charity where she works is arrested on charges of embezzlement. Besides, even if she was interested in dating, a playboy like Lucky Hendrix would be far from the top of her list. When the new team owner throws a fit over his players’ love-‘em-and-leave-‘em ways, Lucky is put in a tough position. He couldn’t care less about actually changing his lifestyle – he just wants someone to provide a little cover until this storm blows over. He strikes a deal with Kendra. If she pretends to be his girlfriend, he’ll donate to her charity and look after one of their “Younger Brothers.” At first, it’s strictly business. But the longer Lucky and Kendra hang out, the harder it is to deny what they’re both feeling. Kendra is scared of the possibilities, but Lucky is determined not to let her become the one that got away. If there’s one thing in his life that’s always true, it’s this: Lucky Hendrix doesn’t lose.

Synopsis Grunts by : John C. McManus
“A superb book—an American equivalent to John Keegan’s The Face of Battle. I sincerely believe that Grunts is destined to be a classic.”—Dave Grossman, Author of On Killing and On Combat From the acclaimed author of The Dead and Those About to Die comes a sweeping narrative of six decades of combat, and an eye-opening account of the evolution of the American infantry. From the beaches of Normandy and the South Pacific Islands to the deserts of the Middle East, the American soldier has been the most indispensable—and most overlooked—factor in wartime victory. In Grunts, renowned historian John C. McManus examines ten critical battles—from Hitler’s massive assault on U.S. soldiers at the Battle of the Bulge to counterinsurgency combat in Iraq—where the skills and courage of American troops proved the crucial difference between victory and defeat. Based on years of research and interviews with veterans, this powerful history reveals the ugly face of war in a way few books have, and demonstrates the fundamental, and too often forgotten, importance of the human element in serving and protecting the nation.

Synopsis INTERGALACTIC BASTARD by : Dave Walsh
The galaxy’s mightiest warriors laughed at humans entering their arena... until they met the bastard. Coop Sabre, along with his exploding barbed wire bat, Guy, has turned the galaxy upside down, taking crowds across the galaxy by storm. The brutal bloodsport of alien deathmatches was no place for the average person, but nothing about Coop and his reckless fighting style was average. With everything he desires seemingly within reach, an unwanted question pops into his mind: Is this really what he wants out of his life? The vicious cycle of violence, addiction and depression takes a toll on every warrior. It’s up to Coop to find where he belongs, or he risks losing it all. He is the INTERGALACTIC BASTARD. *** INTERGALACTIC BASTARD is an over-the-top cyberpunk science fiction adventure story built on a foundation with a lot of heart. Built on a foundation of imagining a future where humans unlock the galaxy and find dozens of alien races, we find ourselves outmatched and underpowered in the galaxy’s sport of choice: gladiatorial combat. No human could hold their own until former bouncer Coop Sabre smashed his way to the top. INTERGALACTIC BASTARD samples from the competitive worlds of mixed martial arts (UFC, Bellator, etc.) and professional wrestling (AEW, WWE, BJW, GCW, etc.). While there are plenty of combat scenes, the heart of the story revolves around Coop Sabre’s quest to build a family for himself and feel comfortable in his own skin, all in a futuristic, cyberpunk setting with evil corporations and all. Goodreads reviewer Kathy Wortham touches on the universality: “Even if you don’t like wrestling, SCI-FI readers will like this.” Goodreads reviewer Karen does as well: “Walsh’s Intergalactic Bastard may appeal to a Sci-Fi audience who are also going through personal struggles and enjoy a bit of UFC thrown in for fun.”
