Synopsis Not Quite a Devil by : Stephanie Rowe
"A prize-winning delight!" ~Kaye (Amazon Review) Who says the devil isn't worth a little romancing? He's hot, he's utterly charming, and when he falls for a woman, he falls oh-so-hard. He's willing to go all in to win her heart, which can be both adorable and a little terrifying, all at the same, delicious time. Not-so-skilled magical apprentice Iris Bennett has one goal: to save the world from a spell gone wrong…an accident that is kinda her fault. She has only three days left to fix it, or all hell is going to break loose…maybe literally. It's bad enough when she discovers her last chance to undo the spell is dead on the floor next to her crystal ball, but when she realizes that the dangerously sexy man standing beside the body might be the murderer, things get even more complicated. Does she accept his magical help, or run as fast as she can from this devilishly sexy hottie who has secrets darker than the darkest recesses of hell? The problem is, she's pretty sure he's one of the good guys…until she discovers that he might not be after all… But by then, she's already in over her head, and honestly, he really is such a temptation. "What a light and delicious romp!" ~Daewalker1 (Amazon Review) "Hilarious." ~Kristy O. Synopsis The Devil Makes Three by : Tori Bovalino
When Tess and Eliot stumble upon an ancient book hidden in a secret tunnel beneath the school library, they accidentally release a devil from his book-bound prison, and he’ll stop at nothing to stay free. He’ll manipulate all the ink in the library books to do his bidding, he’ll murder in the stacks, and he’ll bleed into every inch of Tess’s life until his freedom is permanent. Forced to work together, Tess and Eliot have to find a way to re-trap the devil before he kills everyone they know and love, including, increasingly, each other. And compared to what the devil has in store for them, school stress suddenly doesn’t seem so bad after all.

Synopsis Not Quite the Classics by : Colin Mochrie
The improv star of Whose Line Is It Anyway? puts his “unique comic vision” to work on a range of literary classics (Toronto Star). Based on the improv game First Line, Last Line, actor and comedian Colin Mochrie puts his own spin on works of classic literature. Taking the first line and last line from classic books and poems, Colin recasts these familiar stories in his own trademark offbeat style. Join in the fun as a rainy day at home becomes a zombie-killing adventure in The Cat and My Dad . . . as well as riffs on everything from A Tale of Two Cities to a classic Sherlock Holmes novel, proving that no literary masterpiece is too big, or too small, for the improvisational comedy treatment. “Colin Mochrie is a comedic and creative force to be reckoned with. Therefore, this book is a literary force to be reckoned with. If you are too lazy for reckoning, just read this book and everything will work out nicely.” —Brad Sherwood “Colin Mochrie is devastatingly handsome, perilously smart, and smells like warm maple syrup. Step inside his hilarious and complex mind, and abandon all hope.” —Aisha Tyler

Synopsis The Devil Crept In by : Ania Ahlborn
An unforgettable horror novel from bestselling sensation Ania Ahlborn—hailed as a writer of “some of the most promising horror I’ve encountered in years” (New York Times bestselling author Seanan McGuire)—in which a small-town boy investigates the mysterious disappearance of his cousin and uncovers a terrifying secret kept hidden for years. Young Jude Brighton has been missing for three days, and while the search for him is in full swing in the small town of Deer Valley, Oregon, the locals are starting to lose hope. They’re well aware that the first forty-eight hours are critical and after that, the odds usually point to a worst-case scenario. And despite Stevie Clark’s youth, he knows that, too; he’s seen the cop shows. He knows what each ticking moment may mean for Jude, his cousin and best friend. That, and there was that boy, Max Larsen...the one from years ago, found dead after also disappearing under mysterious circumstances. And then there were the animals: pets gone missing out of yards. For years, the residents of Deer Valley have murmured about these unsolved crimes…and that a killer may still be lurking around their quiet town. Now, fear is reborn—and for Stevie, who is determined to find out what really happened to Jude, the awful truth may be too horrifying to imagine.

Synopsis Not Quite a Hero by : Lt Col Joseph R. Clark
Since the Korean War ended in 1953, a number of books and articles have been written about the air-to-air battles between the American F-86s and Russian MiGs. Some parts of the stories that appear in those publications are probably true, but many of them contain fantasies, exaggerations and even lies that are both preposterous and demeaning to the Air Force. Unfortunately much of what survives in the West as the history of those epic air battles is found in those partially flawed publications. I was in a position to know what was going on there since I spent a year observing the scene as an F-86 pilot fighting the MiGs with the 51st Fighter Wing. I have written this book because I want to leave history a more complete and honest picture of what went on there. I have been retired for more than fifty years, but my love for the Air Force and loathing for anything that reflects shame or dishonor on that great organization has compelled me to act. Feeling the way I do, writing in an effort to correct and enhance the record is an easy task since I enjoy writing and was reared to place real value in truth, honor and integrity and hate dishonesty, dissembling and deceit.
