Anasazi built and occupied Betatakin and Keet Seel, Arizona's largest cliff dwellings, from AD 1250-1300. The Navajo now reside where these ruins are located.

The plan is intended to provide a foundation to help park managers guide programs and set priorities for resource stewardship, visitor understanding, partnerships, facilities, and operations. The plan will guide management of the monument for the next 1520 years.
