Synopsis My Song is My Testimony by : Bennie Lucille Williams
“I see that as such a powerful testimony, since you’re not just singing a song but also telling a story, and it’s your own story.” Bennie Lucille Williams was born in Marshall, Texas—a city split not into two, she would argue, but into three. First, of course, there was racial segregation, but growing up with dark skin Bennie saw a second split within her own black community: a split between those who were lighter-skinned and those who looked like Bennie. There, sitting at the feet of former slaves, Bennie learned the songs that would carry her through her life. “Dem songs,” is what the woman she knew as Aunt Clay called spirituals they sang to her, and those songs would first carry her into music and then into teaching. Bennie recalls working with black, white, and later desegregated church choirs, teaching school choirs with forced busing mandates, and directing public performances. Woven into those stories are the loves and heartbreaks of a vivid and compassionate woman’s life—bittersweet at times, but never half-hearted. Bennie’s love for her music and for her students touched lives from Marshall to Dallas to Denver. Later, when she lay at home with a Do Not Resuscitate sign on her front door, she received calls from former students whose lives she had touched decades before, returning to her the love she had always given them.

Synopsis Safari with Jesus Christ by : Gideon K. Wambua
Safari with Jesus Christ is a compilation of testimonies of people who have witnessed Gods mighty power. Reading this book is like reading the Bible in bed; it facilitates reading the Bible in a new and interesting way. Readers will no doubt be inspired to start or continue with their safari in Jesus Christ. .However, when that darkest night arrived and I steeled myself to put my plan into place, I called out to Christ for the first time in my life and He heard me. Out of my despair, I cried out to God, asking Him to help me and take away the sad feelings that had taken full control of me. I cant recall exactly the strange things that happened during my prayer, but I was overcome by emotion and cant remember ever crying so hard. I went into a deep sleep, and the following day was delighted to find all my sadness gone. God had infiltrated my foolproof plan! From then on I vowed to surrender my life to Him and have never regretted my decision. With your purchase of this book, a donation (20% of royalty) will be made to the rebuilding of churches initiative in Katrina-affected areas. God bless you. Synopsis View of the Hebrews by : Ethan Smith
In the nineteenth century, it was a common belief that Native Americans were the descendants of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel. Ethan Smith wrote on this topic, and in so doing, challenged the dismissal of the Indigenous Americans by European settlers. Smith used biblical scripture, similarities in the Hebrew and Native American languages and their name for God, and other points of evidence to prove the connection between Israel and the First Nations. From there he showed how the reunited Hebrew tribes would be restored to Zion before the end of the world. Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of Smith's book is that it is said to have influenced the Book of Mormon, which was published about seven years after later. As a child, Smith moved away from religion after his parents died but found his way back before he turned 20 and worked in the ministry until his death. Smith wrote several books while serving in the ministry in which he explored prophecies and baptism, among other subjects. But this book remains one of the most controversial of all his publications.
