Synopsis Hyperbole and a Half by : Allie Brosh
#1 New York Times Bestseller “Funny and smart as hell” (Bill Gates), Allie Brosh’s Hyperbole and a Half showcases her unique voice, leaping wit, and her ability to capture complex emotions with deceptively simple illustrations. FROM THE PUBLISHER: Every time Allie Brosh posts something new on her hugely popular blog Hyperbole and a Half the internet rejoices. This full-color, beautifully illustrated edition features more than fifty percent new content, with ten never-before-seen essays and one wholly revised and expanded piece as well as classics from the website like, “The God of Cake,” “Dogs Don’t Understand Basic Concepts Like Moving,” and her astonishing, “Adventures in Depression,” and “Depression Part Two,” which have been hailed as some of the most insightful meditations on the disease ever written. Brosh’s debut marks the launch of a major new American humorist who will surely make even the biggest scrooge or snob laugh. We dare you not to. FROM THE AUTHOR: This is a book I wrote. Because I wrote it, I had to figure out what to put on the back cover to explain what it is. I tried to write a long, third-person summary that would imply how great the book is and also sound vaguely authoritative—like maybe someone who isn’t me wrote it—but I soon discovered that I’m not sneaky enough to pull it off convincingly. So I decided to just make a list of things that are in the book: Pictures Words Stories about things that happened to me Stories about things that happened to other people because of me Eight billion dollars* Stories about dogs The secret to eternal happiness* *These are lies. Perhaps I have underestimated my sneakiness!

Synopsis Never Be the Same by : MA Binfield
They say opposites attract. They aren’t kidding. When Casey meets Olivia—the actress she’s driving around for two weeks—she figures it’s going to be all business. Sure, Olivia’s hot and has women throwing themselves at her feet, but Casey is only interested in making the money she needs before going back to Portland. London is full of painful memories, and anyway, perfectly put together celebrities are not really her thing. Olivia loves being “Susie,” her TV alter ego. She’s sassy, sexy, and never short of admirers, but living her life in the public eye is taking its toll. When her new driver turns out to be tall, dark, and undeniably handsome, Olivia is intrigued. But Casey seems like she has something to hide, and the last thing Olivia needs is someone she can’t trust.

Synopsis Our Heavenly Father the Immutable Holy God by : Steven G. Miller
I have been on a long spiritual journey studying Christian theology. Overtime, it became abundantly oblivious to me that if the Christian faith is really true, it is not being given the weight suggested by what we profess to believe. There are aspects of what we profess to believe that are very comforting, the Love of God for one. There are aspects of Christianity that are hard to understand, Hell as another example. These two aspects of our faith coexist in the immutable nature of God. Neither of these aspects of God's nature can ever be diminished or compromised. Since God cannot compromise His intrinsic nature, these truths give rise to our need for a all sufficient Savior. This book is exploring the wonders of God's salvific work to bring sinners into a right standing with our Heavenly Father.

Synopsis Cast Your Bread by : Warren Ravenscroft
In the first book, Devotional Talks for the Busy Leader, and the second book, Bible Studies for the Busy Leader, the author sought to bring easy reading material to those who chose to explore the word of God. Again in this book, easy reading material has been produced, in essence, making God’s word easier to understand. More Devotional Talks and More Bible Studies have been added to those already produced to take those who seek further enlightenment on a journey only God can make happen through the Holy Spirit. As with all the previous writings, what is done with the revelations revealed is the most important issue we can embrace in our spiritual lives. It is all about God and nothing about the individual. To those who seek, with all their heart will be rewarded by God, revealing secrets to them through the Holy Spirit in his time and at his pace. It is a learning and growing process. Through these easy-read talks and studies, the author hopes to awaken a keener interest in the word of life. Our spiritual life and the teaching combined should take us to heights we would never have expected for those who are of the called. While much happens in our lives, the author has shared his own life and how God has worked through many channels to bring the revealed word into his life. While his journey or walk has always been about trust in a God to direct his life, the way God chose to do this has, in hindsight, left the author with a sense of “Why me?” As you read, may you to experience the riches of God’s word, as he reveals himself to your own heart.
