Synopsis Mordfhey Magus by : Donovan Deleware
An ancient prophecy... A young Mordathion woman... The fate of two worlds hang in the balance... Marrel's was a tragic life. From the death of her mother when she was three, to the brutal murder of her father before her eyes at the hands of slavers when she was nine. And now she found herself caged with other children on their way to be sold into a life of servitude. But Marrel was no ordinary Mordathion child. Her magic came from her mother - one of the most powerful Magus in the forest realm of Qualeth'Dorien, and from her father - holder of the Golden Leaf and the Emerald Star, she learned a strength of will and survival that she would now have to put to use if she ever wanted to taste freedom again. A darkness is creeping back into the world of Scyaneth - an evil thought long vanquished rises anew, threatening to rain down fire and destruction, to lay waste to those that would see it dead. And in the middle of it all is Marrel - a young Mordathion Magus with a grudge to settle, and a mysterious past kept hidden from her by those she cares about the most.

Synopsis The Magus by : Francis Barrett
The Magus, or Celestial Intelligencer; being a Complete System of Occult Philosophy is a handbook of the occult and ceremonial magic compiled by Francis Barrett and published in 1801. This book facilitated the modern revival of magic by making information from otherwise rare books readily available. It may have influenced novelist Edward Bulwer-Lytton and occultist Eliphas Levi. More controversially, it has been identified as an influence on Joseph Smith, Jr., founder of the Latter Day Saint movement, in Reed C. Durham, Jr.'s speech "Is There No Help for the Widow's Son?" Reproduction of 1801 Edition.

Synopsis The Magus by : Francis Barret
IN this Work, which we have written chiefly for the information of those who are curious and indefatigable in their enquiries into occult knowledge, we have, at a vast labour and expence, both of time and charges, collected whatsoever can be deemed curious and rare, in regard to the subject of our speculations in Natural Magic--the Cabala--Celestial and Ceremonial Magic--Alchymy--and Magnetism; and have divided it into two Books, sub-divided into Parts: to which we have added a third Book, containing a biographical account of the lives of those great men who were famous and renowned for their knowledge; shewing upon whose authority this Science of Magic is founded, and upon what principles. To which we have annexed a great variety of notes, wherein we have impartially examined the probability of the existence of Magic, both of the good and bad species, in the earliest, as well as in the latter, ages of the world. We have exhibited a vast number of rare experiments in the course of this Treatise, many of which, delivered in the beginning, are founded upon the simple application of actives to passives; the others are of a higher speculation.

Synopsis Introduction to Magic by : Julius Evola
The rites, practices, and texts collected by the mysterious UR group for the use of aspiring mages. • Rare Hermetic texts published in English for the first time. • Includes instructions for developing psychic and magical powers. In 1927 Julius Evola and other leading Italian intellectuals formed the mysterious UR group. Their goal: to bring their individual egos into a state of superhuman power and awareness in which they could act "magically" on the world. Their methods: the practice of ancient Tantric and Buddhist rituals and the study of rare Hermetic texts. So successful were they that rumors spread throughout Italy of the group's power, and Mussolini himself became quite fearful of them. Now for the first time in English Introduction to Magic collects the rites, practices, and knowledge of the UR group for the use of aspiring mages. Included in Introduction to Magic are instructions for creating an etheric double, speaking words of power, using fragrances, interacting with entities, and creating a "magical chain." Among the arcane texts translated are the Tibetan teachings of the Thunderbolt Diamond Path, the Mithraic mystery cult's "Grand Papyrus of Paris," and the Greco-Egyptian magical text De Mysteriis. Anyone who has exhausted the possibilities of the mundane world and is ready to take the steps necessary to purify the soul in the light of knowledge and the fire of dedication will find a number of expert mentors here.
