Synopsis Man from Atlantis by : Patrick Duffy
Dive deeper than ever before and discover the origins of The Man from Atlantis. When TV unveiled the series Man from Atlantis no one knew the how, where and why of Mark Harris. Over time the show’s star Patrick Duffy formulated his own version of the history of Mark and his people. Here at last is the book that gives every reader and fan of the show the life and mythology of Atlantis, who they were and where they came from. Patrick Duffy’s close connection to his fictional character gives us a special look "behind the scenes" of this amazing fantasy story. Mark Harris, the Man from Atlantis, has been quietly living under the protection of Dr. Elizabeth Merrill who saved his life in 1976. By studying his abilities the two have contributed countless advances for mankind’s development. Only a select few know his true identity: Jason the whiz kid of the science lab. Stacy the bright young intern–who is constantly flustered by Mark’s presence. Dr. Nagashima, a master of oceanic knowledge who Elizabeth lured from Japan to join her inner circle. Then their California ocean side laboratory is shaken when several attempts are made upon Mark’s life. He discovers the assailants have powers similar to his and he is lead into the uncharted depths of the oceans. As he discovers his past Mark’s origins and genealogy finally come to the surface. Synopsis From Atlantis to the Sphinx by : Colin Wilson
Via paleontology and ritual cannibalism, Wilson's tour through time and space sets out to reconstruct that ancient knowledge. In a fascinating exploration of the remote depths of history, From Atlantis to the Sphinx takes us from the structure of the pyramids and the purpose of their tortuous interior shafts, to the prehistoric cities of America by way of ancient sea maps apparently showing the outlines of Antarctica before it was covered by ice.

Synopsis Meet Me in Atlantis by : Mark Adams
The New York Times Bestselling Travel Memoir! The author of Turn Right at Machu Picchu travels the globe in search of the world’s most famous lost city. “Adventurous, inquisitive and mirthful, Mark Adams gamely sifts through the eons of rumor, science, and lore to find a place that, in the end, seems startlingly real indeed.”—Hampton Sides A few years ago, Mark Adams made a strange discovery: Far from alien conspiracy theories and other pop culture myths, everything we know about the legendary lost city of Atlantis comes from the work of one man, the Greek philosopher Plato. Stranger still: Adams learned there is an entire global sub-culture of amateur explorers who are still actively and obsessively searching for this sunken city, based entirely on Plato’s detailed clues. What Adams didn’t realize was that Atlantis is kind of like a virus—and he’d been exposed. In Meet Me in Atlantis, Adams racks up frequent-flier miles tracking down these Atlantis obsessives, trying to determine why they believe it's possible to find the world's most famous lost city—and whether any of their theories could prove or disprove its existence. The result is a classic quest that takes readers to fascinating locations to meet irresistible characters; and a deep, often humorous look at the human longing to rediscover a lost world.

Synopsis MAN-DAR of Atlantis by : Kenneth J Sousa
In present time Patrick Hammel wakes to a voice calling him Pogul and telling him to kill Mandar. He then drives to a trucking company where Manny Silva is a security guard. He pulls a gun on Manny whose extreme rage pulls Patrick from a stupor and chases Patrick away. The event prompts Manny to quit the security job and begin his quest to the pyramids in Central American in order to find proof of the lost continent of Atlantis. He is following the readings of Edgar Cayce who believed Atlantis was a high tech continent in the Atlantic Ocean. In Central America Manny develops extreme dysentery and in a delusional state becomes the incarnation of MANDAR of Atlantis twelve thousand years ago. MANDAR along with his Lessor slave Lugaar, crash their airship while traveling to Angleland to bring a barbarian couple to Atlantis for a conference about beasts overtaking the world. Angeland is a country violently controlled by the evil Priest of Inanna, Zarharrab, and his mother. It was their magic harp which drove Patrick Hammel to kill Manny Silva in the future and disabled MANDAR's airship. Their plan is to capture the female barbarian, Sulina, and use her to travel to the underworld to release an army of monsters and conquer Atlantis. A contingent of Zarharrab's minions led by Pogul capture Sulina and her husband, the loathsome Kirack. Kirack had married Sulina, a chief's daughter to gain power. MANDAR rescues the couple from Pogul. During their adventures MANDAR and Sulina fall in love. Sulina is recaptured by Zarharrab's and taken to the Temple of Inanna where she is tortured into leading Zarharrab and his mother to the underworld. MANDAR, with the help of natives and Lugaar enter the underworld where he kills Zarharrab's mother and frees Sulina. Zarharrab leads his unearthly army out of their captivity and chases MANDAR, Lugaar, Sulina, and Kirack.
